who do you think the scriptures are refering to in
Proverbs 8 :22 - 31?

Does this indicate that this would be the Son of God, Jesus Christ? (indicating pre -human existance)

I love research.
Proverbs 8:22 “Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. 23 From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. 24 When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water. 25 Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains, 26 when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. 27 When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep, 28 when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, 29 when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth, 30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, 31 being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men.

This passage clearly explains that Jesus was a created being, and not God himself.
It is closely reinforced by the scripture ar Colossians 1:15 " He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; "

Sugarpie Yes to your second question,and I do believe I am too lazy to do research hoping upon hope that I know everything,and some chance of that,lol. Research is easier I know using the confuser here instead of hauling out a thousand books spreading them out over an acre of property and highlighting stuff pertaining to a subject .Now I can do this at times when I realize I don't know enough on a matter or I know it has been updated or changed as progress has been made ,not forgetting to being correct or and punctual.And the reviews along with research always reminds me of how little I know.

you are exactly right.
why can't people see that Jesus was a created thing and not the God of the universe. They may get confused because after Jesus was created he made everything else"for" his father....
But Jehovah God is the Creator. The Builder. Jesus is his master builder.

I like to research, but don't have a lot of time to do it. There are many places that talk about Jesus. This is probably one of them.

If you back up to verse 12, you read that it is "I, wisdom," that is speaking or you could say wisdom personified. The chapter also refers to wisdom as "she".

I think it is refering to the premortal life. Here, the author is remembering the time when he lived with his Father in Heaven and also with Christ. It can be cross referenced with some other verses (these are not all of them):

Jeramiah 1:5
" 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. "

John 9:2
" 2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? " (Implying that he could sin before he was born...)

EcclesIastes 1:7
" 7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. " (The implication of the word "return" is here important.)

and so forth...

Jude 1:6
" 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. " (What is this first estate?)

" 22 Now the Lord had shown unto me, Abraham, the intelligences that were organized before the world was; and among all these there were many of the noble and great ones;
23 And God saw these souls that they were good, and he stood in the midst of them, and he said: These I will make my rulers; for he stood among those that were spirits, and he saw that they were good; and he said unto me: Abraham, thou art one of them; thou wast chosen before thou wast born.
24 And there stood one among them that was like unto God, and he said unto those who were with him: We will go down, for there is space there, and we will take of these materials, and we will make an earth whereon these may dwell;
25 And we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them;
26 And they who keep their first estate shall be added upon; and they who keep not their first estate shall not have glory in the same kingdom with those who keep their first estate; and they who keep their second estate shall have glory added upon their heads for ever and ever.
27 And the Lord said: Whom shall I send? And one answered like unto the Son of Man: Here am I, send me. And another answered and said: Here am I, send me. And the Lord said: I will send the first.
28 And the second was angry, and kept not his first estate; and, at that day, many followed after him. "

That last bit is from the Book of Abraham. It is some scripture restored to the Earth by a modern prophet. I hope it's OK I put it there...it seemed too important to leave it out...

Good luck with your research...

Everyone else might be interested in thefollowing reference (because of the few posts listed above my own)...
Hebrews 1:1-2
" 1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; "
Christ created the Earth under the direction of God the Father. (They are two seperate and distinct beings! :o)
