In this age of information, there are plenty of ways to develop without a gym. Are you sure you parents won't spring for a modest weight set? OR, if they will spring for a bigger set, get some Powerblocks, the personal trainer set. You can go from 5-50 lbs in 2.5 lb increments. Your legs? do body weight squats for those, don't stress your knees out. Do calve exercises on the same day as your body weight squats. It doesn't take long, and you feel better physically afterward. That guy has that INSANITY program on tv, you won't like it, so you won't sustain it. I do weights and cardio in tandem, hour, hour and 20 a day with 1 day off, I look good, and my exercise regimen isn't that difficult. You do have to do something though, buddy, diet alone won't cut it, you need to get out of breath 3 times a week minimum. Body weight, stuff, or some simple weight training. Diet won't make you gain bulk, especially if you aren't genetically prone to carry heavy. And Don't use sugar to get there weight-wise!

no fatties. I don't want to date a slob. I would be honest okay. Just picturing a fat guy with no shirt on, like maybe if we went to swim, and seeing those saggy man boobs.. it doesn't turn me on. The big bellies I hate too. I prefer skinny guys over fatties. Of course toned guys are obviously the choice. Every girl wants a guy who (looks like at least) can protect them.
Look, it's not just about other people's views, but also you should take care of yourself and your health for your own sake. Eat healthy and exercise.

You know those triathlete guys that are running around all over town wearing spandex? They are super skinny but they have muscles. I think they are the nastiest looking things. There has to be a happy medium - fit, healthy, strong, not scrawny.

I would probably initially be attracted to slender, not necessarily big muscles but it's all about personality for me. Sense of humor and willingness to listen are most important to me. If you've got that then it won't matter what you look like.

I personally prefer those with meat on there bones. But I've never been very picky. I just like a guy with a sense of humor and a good personality regardless of there body.

Skinny, it's ok if they don't have muscles, as long as he's toned. Infact I didn't like men whose too bulky when I was single, it makes them look like they don't have any brains.
