The above statement is a lie from the pit of hell.

God does not love sinners! He loves those who He has chosen, those who He has given a new heart, a rebirth in Him! These chosen have been supplied by HIS spirit to turn from sin, and begin life anew, in a battle, a spiritual war, against it.

If you are truly reborn, all you are is a vessel of honor that He has chosen to live through. It has NOTHING to do with you, with your ‘goodness’, nor YOUR ability to do anything pleasing to Him, for you are a sinner. It IS His Spirit, living within you that pleases Him, and causes Him to overlook your sin, seeing His Son in your stead.

Prior to Christ sending the helper, the Holy Spirit, Peter thought He could follow Christ of his own choice and ability. If you’ve ever read about it, you know how well he fared, denying Christ three times before the rooster crowed.

Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

If you are saved you should understand this point. We are all just vessels of clay, some to honor, some not.

Trust me, God does not love sinners. Be Berean; search the Scriptures to see if what I say is so.

God uses sinners, as chosen vessels of honor, looking at them, but only seeing His Son, who gave His life in payment for them.

The prodical son was given the gift of repentance, not human sorrow, but a God given gift to turn from His sins. This is why his father welcomed him home.

In most of these replies it seems I am to take it that Judas was saved also. He showed remorse, right? But it was not a God given repentance unto life, or he would not have ended up killing himself (murder)

I think there's not a single discerning person among you all. Or at the very least, not one who saw this question and replied.

It's the saddest day for me thusfar participating here, although it has been the most revealing.

The 'loves the sinner' phrase was invented by those who have no understanding of the power of God's holy spirit.
By means of the spirit and the word, a person can overcome the
practice of sins, and become clean in God's eyes.
While the inherited sin will remain until the kingdom, a person can stop doing things such as stealing, lying, adultery and such.

God loves those that have recognized their error and have repented.

These have chosen God rather than self or the things of the flesh that are offered by Satan.

Jesus was tempted by things of the flesh by Satan.

Here is the little verses in Genesis that show exactly how God was hurt and disappointed in "man".

Genesis 6:5-7
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man [was] great in the earth, and [that] every imagination of the thoughts of his heart [was] only evil continually.
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

Over and over God has been kind and loving even when we error.
So much love has God He sent His firstborn to be offered as sacrifice for everyone's sins.

God is Love.

Biblegracespirit,

It is all too easy for us mortal and finite human beings, to try to imprint our own views onto the character of our Heavenly Father. His Love, is so much higher than even our wildest imagination, that it is quite literally impossible for us to comprehend it. Think for a moment, to the stories of Jesus. One of the reasons He was so despised by the Pharisees, was that He regularly spent time in the company of people who were considered "unclean" by the religious authorities. Tax gatherers, prostitutes, and others, who were sinners, to say the least. He loved them. Despite their wayward spiritual condition, He loved them. He has said over and over, that He is not willing that any should perish, but that all would be saved. Think about the Prodigal son. Who among us would have been waiting for such an unworthy and unrepentant child to come home? Not only did his father (God, in the parable) still love him, he shut down the whole farm, to throw an expensive welcome home party, for this most undeserving son. Everyone who counts themselves as saved by Grace, must be cautious not to be like the elder son in that story, who would not come to the party, even after his father invited him in. If there is not a deep and abiding, and undying love for all people, even for those who have not surrendered their hearts and minds to our Father yet, then we must ask ourselves, whose spirit dwells in our hearts. As mortals, we cannot say who will and will not, enter the Kingdom. Our duty, is to do the will of God at all times, just as the Christ does. God has a passion for the lost, and so should we. You should know by now, that God is no respecter of persons, and that you cannot earn His love. He gives it, precisely because He IS God, and does not need a reason. Just as any normal minded parent, will always love their children, no matter what they do. Just my two cents.
Peace be with you..........

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

1Ti 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

1Jn 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Mat 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Basically, God loves sinners; but He loves them too much to leave them that way.

It is true God hates sin. If we are not covered by Christ's sacrifice on the cross, we must stand before Him naked in our sins. So yes, if the Father were not focused on His Son in us byway of the Holy Spirit, then we too would be judged by the law, and by the law, no flesh is saved.

I'm not sure what your religious belief is. But I speak as a Christian. God send his Son because of his love. According to John 3:16-17 "For God so loved that world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him might have life everlasting. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."

The concept of the statement is simply that while God hates the sin he loves the sinner and will forgive him if he seeks Jesus Christ.
To imply otherwise negates anything that Christ did as it is up to God what the lump of clay becomes.
It also totally eliminates the concept of freewill.
