No your hearing is fine.
You just have too much earwax right now.
Go out and buy a box of Murine earwax removal from the drustore or pharmacy section of your grocery store. Follow the instructions. Within a couple days, your problems will be solved.

You should probably see an Ear Nose Throat (ENT) specialist, just to clarify what kind of problem you have. Perhaps it is allergies, or a sinus infection, or middle ear problem. Mine was a problem with fluid collecting in the middle ear.
But, if you don't want to do that, I have a similar problem (although the causes of my problem could be different) and I went to see an ENT, and here is the advice they gave me.
Note: if you have an infection, you need to see an ENT to get that cleared up. Bacteria in the middle ear can be very hard to eradicate and sometimes need several rounds of different antibiotics to completely clear the problem.
But if you only have allergies, the following steps may help.
To treat middle ear fluid build-up:
1. Vancenase AQ every day (this is a nasal steroid spray; others can be used instead. They all require a prescription; check with your doctor.)
2. Afrin decongestant twice a day every other day
3. Sudafed as directed (decongestant only; avoid antihistamine)
Use spray decongestants cautiously to help keep the eustachian tube lining from getting so swollen that it stops functioning properly.
Avoid over-the-counter antihistamines, such as diphenhydramine or chlorpheniramine, for the treatment of colds because they thicken secretions.

Well, you may just have an allergy to something in your bed, causing fluid build up in your middle ear, behind the ear drum.
Take an anti histamine when you go to bed, or better, one loratidine ( generic Claritin). Do this for a week and see if your problem gets better. If not, go see an Ear Nose & Throat specialist. Good luck

I would recommend drinking more water and ear candling. Ear candling is an ancient remedy to help with many ear issues. It is a hollow candle. I recommend the Bees Wax not the Paraffin ones. You can also get them with herbs. You light one end of them on fire and put the small end in your ear. It makes a suction, pulling out the wax and soothing the inner ear canal. There is also great ear oil to use afterwards usually with echinacea, eucalyptus, garlic & tea tree. It is great to put a few drops in the ear and massage the outter ear.
I have seen this techniqe work on several of my clients with ear infections to swimmers ear. All of them report positive back to me.

Ah, what you might want to try doing is drinking more water. It sounds strange and pointless, but I read that if you don't drink enough of it then your body's mucus levels increase which could result in clogged ears.

I think you should go to an ENT (ears, nose, & throat) specialist. There may be a simple, harmless explanation... or it could be something that needs medical attention.
