Yeah: I know what you mean.
We grow strong from knowing we do stuff ourselves not by believing InvisibleSkyPixies help us.
It's a completely false and deluded way of progressing thru life.
Theists and Atheists ultimately 'win or fail' at life through their own endeavours but some do it in a half-hearted way with one eye on their ‘security blanket’.
Hey, I’m glad they do – think of how much competition we’d have for jobs and stuff if the Theists kept BOTH eyes on the job.

I see what you're doing there man. All the whining 'pray for my puppy' questions wear me down too. And when you tell them their puppy doesn't posess a soul (according to their own philosopy anyway) they tell you you're an evil person and will go to hell, and then report you. Then the reporting chimps at Y!A actually erase your response and take away your points.
Right on, man! Solving your own problems is great!

Perhaps instead of taking a dig at atheists, you could ask for opinions, learn skills, and truly be able to manage life without praying to an imaginary being?

You comment makes no sense from both an Atheist and Religious point-of-view.
As a Christian, I'm called on to do more than "pray" for others when they have trouble. In the spirit of the Good Samaritan, we are guided to act where others don't.
Of course, Atheists would have no reason to engage in prayer.

Fair enough, I won't pray, but if you need someone to talk to I'm your man!
