go to the doctor as soon as possible. keep your hand elevated on a pillow until you get to the ER as it'll reduce inflammation (icing it will do so too). take painkillers as the docs will make you stretch out your hand flat for xrays-that hurts like heck!
best wishes!!!

You could go to your doc or urgent care or the ER and have it checked out to make sure its broken. If its just the pinky that is broken then they will just tape it to the finger next to it or put a splint on the finger and tape it up so it heals straight. It sucks to break your hand or a finger, its painful and there really isn't much you can do for it. Take some tylenol or ibuprofin for swelling and pain. Ice it up if ya want to. Just take care. Good luck.

Depends how the bones are broken and what the break is like, and what it looks like. If you don't have a friend or relative that has any medical knowlege in regard to breaks, etc, go to an emergency room and see a doc.

I guess if you would punch a wall, you would need to come on here and ask what to do.

It's called a Boxer fracture. Fists don't make good stud finders. See your doc, get an x-ray , and get a cast if needed.
Lesson learned??

Go to the doctor and they will give you a cast for a few weeks. You might need surgery if it doesn't heal right.

if your hand is truly broken, you need to have it strightened out and put in a cast. if it's a bad bruise, it should still be looked at by a doctor. get some medical attention.
