That isn't something that I could answer for you. It could be many different things. Some people stop believing in God because their life is full of hardship and they believe that God is doing it to them. This thinking is false. God doesn't cause bad things the happen in our lives. He doesn't promise us a perfect life. He does promise us that he will never leave us. Hebrews 13:5-6 says that God will never leave us or forsake us. Some people believe God doesn't love them anymore because of the bad things that they have done. That isn't true either. Romans 8:38-39 says that nothing can seperate us from the love that God has for us. Jeremiah 31:3 says that God's love is endless. Some people cannot deal with the fact that they cannot see God. But, 2 Corinthians 5:7 says that we walk by faith, not by sight. There are many reasons why you may not believe in God anymore. But, that is really up to you to figure out.

I would need to know more. You must ask yourself, if you really ever did believe in God? Did your read the Bible,,,did you pray? Did you obey by repenting and being baptized? If you once believed but have doubt, then in your heart, you still believe. Doubt is only fear sent by Satan to confuse you.

God is as close as your next heartbeat...you just have to call on him..he's still here and his Son Jesus, is waiting at the door of your heart....he is knocking...open the door and let him come in.

Surely God is good to Israel,
to those who are pure in heart.
2 But as for me, my feet had almost slipped;
I had nearly lost my foothold.

3 For I envied the arrogant
when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

4 They have no struggles;
their bodies are healthy and strong. [a]

5 They are free from the burdens common to man;
they are not plagued by human ills.

6 Therefore pride is their necklace;
they clothe themselves with violence.

7 From their callous hearts comes iniquity [b] ;
the evil conceits of their minds know no limits.

8 They scoff, and speak with malice;
in their arrogance they threaten oppression.

9 Their mouths lay claim to heaven,
and their tongues take possession of the earth.

10 Therefore their people turn to them
and drink up waters in abundance. [c]

11 They say, "How can God know?
Does the Most High have knowledge?"

12 This is what the wicked are like—
always carefree, they increase in wealth.

13 Surely in vain have I kept my heart pure;
in vain have I washed my hands in innocence.

14 All day long I have been plagued;
I have been punished every morning.

15 If I had said, "I will speak thus,"
I would have betrayed your children.

16 When I tried to understand all this,
it was oppressive to me

17 till I entered the sanctuary of God;
then I understood their final destiny.

18 Surely you place them on slippery ground;
you cast them down to ruin.

19 How suddenly are they destroyed,
completely swept away by terrors!

20 As a dream when one awakes,
so when you arise, O Lord,
you will despise them as fantasies.

21 When my heart was grieved
and my spirit embittered,

22 I was senseless and ignorant;
I was a brute beast before you.

23 Yet I am always with you;
you hold me by my right hand.

24 You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will take me into glory.

25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.

26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever.

27 Those who are far from you will perish;
you destroy all who are unfaithful to you.

28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.
I have made the Sovereign LORD my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.

Psalm 73

i guess simply because u began to hold God responsible for the bad deeds of human beings and became confused. When you will see that humans are the reason why we come closer and move away from our basic belief in Him, you will go back and enjoy his mercy. This is my opinion from an islamic point ofview.
take care

because its a personal choicw ,because you have turned your back on your creator,because you have" suffered "a personal loss and blame God for it,because you are ina dark place right now because your heart has closed down on you refusing t let the light of hope in ,hope for the better,hope to be better,hope to make it another day,hope to be alive today,tommorrow,in the next 60 seconds all that isnt hope its will God's will to allow you to live breathe eat and be free health and of sane mind yet you turn your back on your lord who created you and can destroy you not out of hope but by sheer will your lord doesnt need you,you need him,you need to have faith you need to be good now in this temporary life in order to have a place in the better life,the hearafter...either that or you have lost your faith in god and placed t in the hands of satan...good luck with that
you have to realize that you need God more than he needs you you should pray and find sometime alone to think and when you alone and staring in the mirror,you'll see who you have become:a lost soul amongst many,so when that day comes,do your self a favor,fight :sadness ,despair,anger,hate,loss,and any other afflictions that you may want to blame GOD FOR PUTTING ON YOU fight all those thoughts that lead people to stary away from faith and lose it momentarily fight all of those with:FAITH
strong renewed unshakable faith that for every dark night theres a brighter day after it
i hope i helped in some way big or small i hope i made you think...
]good luck and GOD bless

You want us to tell you? You're the only one who can answer that one. Perhaps you don't believe in the god taught by the doctrines of men, perhaps you just need to find the real one.
