Ok now the other side of the coin says IN GOD WE TRUST. Dont you think it is odd that the religous hungry United States would dare Offend god by putting an atheist on there money?

The Quarter Dollar is worth a dollar that was just the name of it.
I will stay in the US and just grind " In God We Trust" off the coins and Get an ATHEIST stamp and cover the god on the bills

No, I don't. She was a famous women's rights advocate.
You mean "their" money, do you not?
You don't KNOW that God would be offended, do you?
God loves one and all.
I find it odd that you call the United States "religious hungry."
Now, if the words IN GOD WE TRUST on money offends you, I wonder why you use it. Why not write a check? Why not move to another country? You might prefer the money in Russia or Iraq or somewhere else. How about a 3rd World Country where you are told every move to make?
You would probably like it better over there.

Where do you get the idea that Susan B. Anthony was an atheist? Will you people ever stop at anything? Susan B. Anthony was brought up as a Quaker. Quakers have diversified religious beliefs, but they DO believe in God.
Ms. Anthony herself campaigned against alcohol consumption because she believed, as a Quaker, that the drinking of alcohol was a sin.
Nice try.

Susan B. Anthony was on the one dollar coin, not the quarter dollar coin.
Her bust was stamped there because of her role for women suffragists, not her stand on religion. She was a Quaker, not an atheist.
So.... now we've got Hillary.

I thought that Susan B. Anthony was on the dollar coin. I'm Canadian, so I can't say for sure. I didn't know about her being an atheist .

Isn't all this god business on the currency and in the pledge a fairly recent innovation? I thought It was due to the 'red' scare in the 50's and has nothing at all to do with how the US was founded and meant to exist.

She was not an atheist check out the site...she just believed that she served and showed her faith by her works..she was considered a religious radical and was torn in regards to religion because the Men of the day used the Bible and twisted it to say women should have no rights...

I guess the people at the mint saw other aspects of her life more important than her religion.
For the record, Anthony was a Unitarian.

On the dollar, not the quarter. Yes, that was the least of her faults. but it was the politcally correct thing to do in 1979 when the ERA failed.

No...a lot of the founding fathers weren't Christians but they're still on our money...
I could not find anything stating her religion when she died...but she was born and raised in the Quaker religion.
