Let me example.

A Christian is someone who believes in Jesus Christ.

The word Christian came about when the new believers toke on the name of Christ and called them self Christians.

Now many people say that they are Christians, they do things because their family does it, they know a lot of book knowledge of the Bible and so on.

But a Christian is someone who has a relationship with God.
When we have a relationship with God, then everything we do make sense.

You have fallen into the same trap that a lot of people do, especially children who grow up with Christian parents. You go to church because your parents say you must go, you sing in the choir because it looks good and so on.
Your parents has come to know God for their self. You too must come to know him

God is waiting for you with his arms wide open.

Wow, you must be really unobservant if you do all that stuff and still don't realize that you aren't a Christian. On another note people should stop saying that if you don't believe in God you are an atheist or an agnostic, thats basically saying that their aren't any religions other than Christianity and is quite insulting.

if you were a Christian, you wouldn't be asking this question.

Being raised in a Christian household doesn't make you a Christian nor does going to church or knowing the Bible. ANYBODY could do these things. If you paid attention in church you'd know these things. Only those who recognize Jesus Christ , Son of God as their Savior and ask him for forgiveness from sin are Christians. As for what religion you are, that's up to you. I'm praying for ya.

The only way that you're a Christian is if you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9. It does not matter how much scripture you know, how much you go to church and even if you are raised in a Christian family. It's about what you believe. Have you accepted him as your savior? Feel free to email me with any questions.

Well, most people of a church require their members to believe in God. But, in my mind, as long as you follow basically live life in the best way that you can, I think you are a Christian. But that is my own wierd philosophy, where if you help people, then even if you don't believe in God, you are a Christian...if you want to be considered a Christian. You could also be like me, where your religion is Confusionanity.

lol...if you dont believe in God then you are not a christian...you sound like an athiest
just because you grew up in a christian family and go to church doesnt make you a christian
its not what you know (obviously not enough about the bible)or do that makes you a christian, its your faith in Him
if i had to guess what religion you are...you're atheist(is that a religion?)

That is for you to declare, not another.
I suggest you start reading the Bible, especially the New Testament, and God's own words will tell you if you are a Christian or not.
If not, it will show you how to become one.
(Romans 10:8-13)

"go to church(even though i find it so pointless) and don't believe in God"

Apparently, you don't know that much about the Scriptures. You confession of unbelief in God pretty much puts you in the unbeliever camp.

When I was a child, I believed in God. As I grew older, I became aware of right and wrong. Yet, I was not a christian.

Then at fifteen, all that I had read in the bible, but did not understand became extremely clear to me.

I found out that all men are sinners. And unless they repent ask for forgiveness, ask Jesus into their hearts, if they die, they will be cast into hell.

I repented and asked God for forgivness, asked Jesus into my heart. And it was just as the bible says. All things were made new.

It felt as if a hundred pound weight was lifted from off my heart. My heart was filled with love. I was a new creature in Christ.

So unless you are born again, you will not be saved from hell if you die. If you do not repent and ask God, Jesus to forgive you of your sins, you are not born again. Ask Jesus into your heart.

If you truly seek him, you will find him.

No sir. with your own mouth you have confessed it.

But you are going to be under greater wrath for you have seen the works of God in your family and friends and give NOT the glory to GOD!!!

You think you know, but you don't. Sit down and read the bible and see how Jesus the God/Man came and did mighty things and died and rose again for sinners like you!

2 Cor. 5:21 "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."

Remember damnation is forever.
