well personally I think that asking someone out should be a guy's job. But there are a few things you can do to influence him...and even ask him out without making it sound like a date. first of all you two need to get along really well. Because if you walk up to a guy that doesn't even know you exist...I can guarantee it won't end well. But if you guys hang out a lot anyway...that's allready a good foundation. And if he's in your school then you can set up a study date...make it seem as if you or he needs homework help...and meet up. That'll give you two a chance to get to know each other better. And if you feel confident enough...then ask him to come join you at whatever (swimming pool, movies, park, walk, show). Hope this helps.

To ask a question like that, u must be 10 yrs. old. Assuming that is the case and u are only 10.....here goes. No, hon, u do not ever, ask a guy for a date or to hang out. That's what he does, HE approaches u and ask u out. U let him take the lead, and u follow. If u try to force something to happen between u and him, it won't work. He'll start avoiding u. No, no, no; don't put ur friend up to asking him if he likes u..... if he likes u, he knows what to do and how to find u. Leave ur friend out of it.

Of course you should. Either one of 3 things will happen
a. he will say "whatever"
b. you'll ask the wrong person just like you posted the question in the wrong section
c. in the unlikely event we're talking about a dog, it will look you and possibly bark
