Does anyone believe that God heals people? Does he heal non-believers? Or does anyone believe sickness is a result of ones own sin? Or is it all rubbish?

I do believe that God still heals people. I do NOT think that evangelical preachers who shove folks backwards heal people.

I have a difficult time with all the "if you have enough faith you can be healed" mumbo jumbo - OH, OK, so if someone dies of cancer, it's THEIR fault? I don't buy it. I've seen people with GREAT FAITH still sucumb to cancer (or other life threatening illnesses) who prayed and prayed for healing.

The Bible states that God does not change... not even a shadow of variableness. Therefore if He healed in times past He can heal today. Jesus healed the Centurian's servant who was probably an unbeliever based on the Centurian's faith. A couple of times He healed a person and told them to go and sin no more lest a worse thing happen to them, so yes, sin CAN cause sickness, but so can nature that is a result of no sin.

Just from personal experience, healings can occur today, but it takes a cleansing that is very difficult... an entire repentence and devotion to following God's will at all cost... and it takes a faith that doubt's nothing. This is very difficult to attain and keep. Because of this difficulty true healings are very rare. Many practice laying of hands and anointing with consecrated oil for healing, yet the vast majority of these result in no real healing... maybe a brief warm fuzzy if that even. Tragically some are duped into thinking they are healed and end up dying of cancers etc.

Heck yes God heals...He healed me..I was a security guard, a guy stole, we got into a fight I had just had my nails done, and the people did a really bad job and filed the heck out of my nail beds (they were bleeding)..anyone with acrylics knows what i am talking about...So to make a long story short..I broke his nose he bled all over me..including my hands with open cuts.

I did not thankfully contract the HIV virus...I did contract Hep C. I know for a fact that I did not have it before because I had recently had blood work and was tested for everything...I know for a fact that I had it because I went to 3 different doctors all confirming the diagnosis.

Now Three years later..no medical treatment other than once in a while going to a doctor for the flu..or a kidney stone..All of my blood work has come back clean and negative for Hep C..
What have I done...nothing other than pray...

Please note that I did have my blood checked occasionally the first year and a half the Hep C was still showing up. Until I got pregnant I did not have my blood drawn again. So about another year and 3months or so.clean bill of health..I did not do away with the idea of medicine. I have a great deal of respect and believe God gave us doctors for a reason.

This past November I broke my arm. It was healed the next day. Yes, God still heals. Yes, I believe that he heals non believers. I believe that some sickness is the result of one's own sin, but not all of it. I am seeking the Lord for a calling into the healing ministry.

I put together a message board for discussion on healing in December. It hasn't had much response yet, but I was just talking to someone else here on YA who might be interested in using the board. Would you like to as well?

It is located at: http://p207.ezboard.com/bjehovahrapha

My testimony of my healed arm is there.

Um God does not heal people . Science and technology are what heal people . If you ever get in a car accident and are injured badly ie.. Missing arm,leg open chest wound, If you want to answer your own question . Refuse medical treatment and see what happens.
As for a bloodclot or poison ivey drying up and going away that is natural healing that is what happens it is not a terminal thing.

And also a miracle is something that has no other explanation for why it happened. Here is an example.

Tommorrow if the Aids virus dissapears from the world and all people sick with the virus are also cured and never to have any trace of it anymore, That is a Miracle

Yes, I believe God does still heal people today. I believe in anointing of sick people and praying that if it would bring glory to God that they would be healed...but to always ask for God's will to be done. Yes, I believe He heals non-believers in order to help them and others to believe in Him. Jesus did that while He was here on earth. He healed them FIRST and then talked to them about God.
Yes, I believe that sickness sometimes is a natural consequence of not following God's laws of health. Sometimes it is not the person's fault but just the result of sin in general. This was an issue when Jesus was here on earth and still is today.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes (btw, that's 5 questions, not 1 lol)

Yes, God heals people, even non-believers. Yes, sometimes sickness is a result of one's own sin. In fact, a LOT of sickness is from sin. But to classify all of this into believers / non-believers, the guilty of sin and the innocent of sin, thats rubbish. Each of us is as special and unique to God as our children are to us.

There was a guy on tv once said "I'm nice and I'm tough. Let me give you an example. One of my kids I put through college, the other one I put through a wall. I'm nice ... and I'm tough". Each kid got what was needed from his father, just like we do from God. Don't compare, you will end up lacking somewhere.

Yes, I believe he still heals but my only problem is that He just do a clear miracle that left people no place to doubt which is healing an amputee. I'm a christian and to be honest I'm disaprove of God for that.

Yes, God healed me. I have personally experienced His awesome healing power. I feel thousands of feet from an airplane, and my body was almost completely destroyed. My bones were pulverized by the impact, and my internal organs utterly destroyed. The doctors certified that I had less than a one in ten thousand chance of recovery. Medical science completely abandoned me. However, my family and friends prayed for me, and in less than a week I was up and walking again, and thanks to Jesus' healing powers, today I'm completely recovered. I'm writing it up in a book, which will be titled "Healed of Complete Obliteration".
