Well that is pretty freaky. To say the least. And no, it most certainly isn't your fault. To be perfectly honest, if I were you, I would run a mile, if your name is that unusual that he definately just had it done, and it is permanent, you should ask yourself what kind of person would do something so rash, foolish and down right scary and why he would go all out to try and impress you after three days of chatting. What are his motives, and more to the point, if he is that dependent after three days of talk, what would it be like if you got with him, I think your life would become very controlled and sinister indeed.

If you cannot just walk away from this guy, please at least consider him a friend only, but even then I think you will run into possessiveness issues. However nice he seems to talk to, you don't really know him, and his behaviour is far from rational. If I were you, I would tell him that the whole tattoo thing freaked you out and you are not sure if you and he are compatible as friends or anything else.

Even if you had begged him to get that ink done, only a seriously odd person would do it, you didn't encourage him, and he went and did it anyway. I'd be scared if I were you, and run the other way. This is certainly not your fault. Good luck, and God bless.

Let's ask the question - Did you hold a gun to his head or threaten a member of his family to get the tattoo? No, thought not!! he's a grown man, he can make his decisions for himself. It's definitely NOT your fault if he got one after such a short time.

OMG! No it's not your fault but it would seriously freak me out.

Just hope that he really likes your name and when he decides to start a family he's planning on calling one of his kids after you.
