I was raised a Catholic, turned away from my faith as a teenager and turned my back on God. Then when I was at my lowest He had mercy on me and saved me in a moment from depression, confusion, hopelessness and meaninglessness.
When I least expected it He spoke into my heart these simple words:
"Maybe Jesus really did die for your sins."
With that word a flood of light and love and peace and acceptance and forgiveness filled my heart, and I knew intuitively that God had received me, and that I had become a child of God, and that I would go to be with Him in heaven when I die.
I didn't even know this was possible, but one year later while reading the Bible I found out Jesus had spoken about this very thing over 1900 years ago to a man, a religious leader of the Jews, called Nicodemus. He called it being "born again", or "born of the Spirit".
That was what happened to me over 36 years ago, and I have had peace with God ever since.

None, for religion is "belief" SELECTED, CREATED, and RUN by MAN in what is ASSUMED to be entity (ies) of a supernatural origin.

FAITH, is and does not have the realities of itself based upon RELIGION. Faith is a conviction which can be FALSE or TRUE. "Religions," base their faith upon the ancient heresay of those they have deemed inspired by "God" or "Gods." One PROBLEM. Much of these ancient writings were made before mankind had medical evidence of many syndromes that affect the "sanity" of a person, such as Epilepsy, Schizophrenia, OCD, various Psychoses, or psychotic behaviors. About 95 % of ALL ancient written supposedly HOLY WORDS, "show" much evidence of "mental illness" and the creation of a God or Gods that were just as "insane" as their creators. No doubt there is a "superior" entity that created all we see, it's just not within many holy words on earth and the violent and murderous behaviors of many of religious faithful has proven this point throughout the centuries since their "creations" by MAN.....

THE MESSAGE OF FALSE RELIGION

There are so many sects, cults, religions, philosophies, and movements in the world, all of which claim to be the right way or the only true path to Allah. How can one determine which one is correct or if, in fact, all are correct? The method by which the answer can be found is to clear away the superficial differences in the teachings of the various claimants to the ultimate truth, and identify the central object of worship to which they call, directly or indirectly. False religions all have in common one basic concept with regards to Allah. They either claim that all men are gods or that specific men were Allah or that nature is Allah or that Allah is a figment of man's imagination.

Thus, it may be stated that the basic message of false religion is that Allah may be worshipped in the form of His creation. False religion invites man to the worship of creation by calling the creation or some aspect of it God. For example, prophet Jesus invited his followers to worship Allah but those who claim to be his followers today call people to worship Jesus, claiming that he was Allah!... read all http://www.islamworld.net/true.html

1)One which believes in equality, unity, equality, and believe in other religions. (Unity in the eyes of GOD, even there is no messenger(priest, minister, clergy, middleman) between you and GOD.
2)One has an open mind towards the future of all religions.
3) One believes in compatibility , co-existence of science and religion
4) One believes in prophets of all religios are saying the same. and Progressive revelation(future prophets yet to come).
5) One believes in Unity, and does not believe in PROSELYTIZING (it is capitalized, as many religions change people through gifts, money, property, etc)
6) Religion which believes in Unity and Peace. One which does not have a fanatical group, or terrorist group which goes to war for their religion or their belief.

This religion I found with my individual investigation of truth and found the gift. I recomment, suggest you to do the individual investigation, and find the truth for your own self. Best of luck.

John 14:6 "Jesus said...’I am the way, the truth, and the life...’"
John 8:31-32 "Then Jesus said.. ’If you abide in My word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.’"
II Corinthians 4:3-4 "But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, (4) whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is in the image of God, should shine upon them."........http://www.gnmagazine.org/booklets/CJ/index.htm

No way ta tell, if there was we would have decided on something by now.

Really, all major religions have some sort of proof that theirs is the right one, and that their proof came from god.

So, if god exists, I don't think he'd be that stupid to give everyone proof that contradicts itself (he'd give the Christians that job). Thus none of them are true.

Or, one of them could be true and everyone else just copied, but again, I think god wouldn't skimp out on the holy-holy sauce and we'd still be able to tell what was written by god and whatnot.

Consider all the prophecies concerning Jesus Christ. Then calculate the odds of one person fulfilling all He did. And will do, when He returns.
The odds are astonomical, so it proves not only the authenticity of Judaism but also Christianity.

The truth of any religion will always depend on whom you ask. It is a matter of opinion, not of fact.

the only lway we are going to know for 100% certainty is when we die. in the mean time live the best life you can and live it as you think GOD would like you to live it. if you are an agnostic or an atheist then try to live your life by not hurting others and by living life to it's fullest with much happiness. once we die we will know the truth and hopefully GOD will give us all a second chance before judging us.

Fulfilled Prophecy: Evidence for the Reliability of the Bible
by Hugh Ross, Ph.D.
Unique among all books ever written, the Bible accurately foretells specific events-in detail-many years, sometimes centuries, before they occur. Approximately 2500 prophecies appear in the pages of the Bible, about 2000 of which already have been fulfilled to the letter—no errors. (The remaining 500 or so reach into the future and may be seen unfolding as days go by.) Since the probability for any one of these prophecies having been fulfilled by chance averages less than one in ten (figured very conservatively) and since the prophecies are for the most part independent of one another, the odds for all these prophecies having been fulfilled by chance without error is less than one in 102000 (that is 1 with 2000 zeros written after it)!

God is not the only one, however, who uses forecasts of future events to get people's attention. Satan does, too. Through clairvoyants (such as Jeanne Dixon and Edgar Cayce), mediums, spiritists, and others, come remarkable predictions, though rarely with more than about 60 percent accuracy, never with total accuracy. Messages from Satan, furthermore, fail to match the detail of Bible prophecies, nor do they include a call to repentance.

The acid test for identifying a prophet of God is recorded by Moses in Deuteronomy 18:21-22. According to this Bible passage (and others), God's prophets, as distinct from Satan's spokesmen, are 100 percent accurate in their predictions. There is no room for error.

As economy does not permit an explanation of all the Biblical prophecies that have been fulfilled, what follows in a discussion of a few that exemplify the high degree of specificity, the range of projection, and/or the "supernature" of the predicted events. Readers are encouraged to select others, as well, and to carefully examine their historicity.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(1) Some time before 500 B.C. the prophet Daniel proclaimed that Israel's long-awaited Messiah would begin his public ministry 483 years after the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem (Daniel 9:25-26). He further predicted that the Messiah would be "cut off," killed, and that this event would take place prior to a second destruction of Jerusalem. Abundant documentation shows that these prophecies were perfectly fulfilled in the life (and crucifixion) of Jesus Christ. The decree regarding the restoration of Jerusalem was issued by Persia's King Artaxerxes to the Hebrew priest Ezra in 458 B.C., 483 years later the ministry of Jesus Christ began in Galilee. (Remember that due to calendar changes, the date for the start of Christ's ministry is set by most historians at about 26 A.D. Also note that from 1 B.C. to 1 A.D. is just one year.) Jesus' crucifixion occurred only a few years later, and about four decades later, in 70 A.D. came the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus.

(Probability of chance fulfillment = 1 in 105.)*

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(2) In approximately 700 B.C. the prophet Micah named the tiny village of Bethlehem as the birthplace of Israel's Messiah (Micah 5:2). The fulfillment of this prophecy in the birth of Christ is one of the most widely known and widely celebrated facts in history.

(Probability of chance fulfillment = 1 in 105.)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(3) In the fifth century B.C. a prophet named Zechariah declared that the Messiah would be betrayed for the price of a slave—thirty pieces of silver, according to Jewish law-and also that this money would be used to buy a burial ground for Jerusalem's poor foreigners (Zechariah 11:12-13). Bible writers and secular historians both record thirty pieces of silver as the sum paid to Judas Iscariot for betraying Jesus, and they indicate that the money went to purchase a "potter's field," used—just as predicted—for the burial of poor aliens (Matthew 27:3-10).

(Probability of chance fulfillment = 1 in 1011.)
