Do you have an older sibling that drives? Do you have any older high school friends who drive?? How about an Aunt/Uncle or cousin who drives??? Call them up, and tell them it's an emergency - you need them to drive the cat up to the vet immediately. The signs are not good sweetie - the kitty needs to go now.
If the person who takes him is worried about money, tell them you'll do yard work, or household chores since you're still out of school to make up for the money!
Do whatever you can to get the kitty to the vet - it sounds like a poisoning, and he'll die without treatment.
In the meantime - get him some milk, or his favorite canned food and give him as much as he'll eat and drink, that way it'll hopefully speed up the process of getting the poison out of his system quickly until a vet can see him. He'll pee and poop with all that extra food and milk in his system.
Good luck sweetie! Let us know how it goes!

Have your parents read your question and all the responses, maybe they will take her to the vet. Your parents seem very selfish and uncaring not only towards the cat but to you as their child. Your parents should not have animals around if they do not intend to take care of them! If it is a money issue, some vet s will let you make payments. Maybe she ate something like a bug or grass that has been sprayed. I don't know why or how your other cat died, but maybe your family should not get pets if you can't take proper care of them. I'm really sorry....keep the cat warm, it maybe already to late.

Shame on your parents, and you can tell them I said so. What is this crap about waiting for the cats time? The cat is only 3 yrs old. It is not the cat's time. Do they take you to the doctor when you are sick, or are they just waiting for your time to come? All my animals are treated as members of the family, and when someone is sick we take it to the vet. You should tell your parents that they have a responsibility to that cat and it deserves to be taken to the vet. Espescially since your mother's bug spraying is probably what got her sick in the first place.

Animals are people too!!!

Since cats often hunt and kill cockroaches, I think it's quite likely she's been poisoned by the bug spray. Not eating for a few days is deadly serious to a cat. I hope your parents let you take her to the vet, she needs professional help! Poor kitty.

Your parents are guity of animal cruelty if they do not take her to the vet - if all else fails and the local animal shelter or humane society will not come get her, call 911 - they will have to send someone out and your parents will have to deal with what they have done from there, it's either that or let your cat continue to suffer horribly and die a very painful death from poisoning.

I am very sorry to say it is probably a result of the bug spray, and that perhaps there are other issues involved here in them not taking your cat to the vet. She needs to see a vet, and it may already be too late, based on her being cold.

My heart goes out to you. You are very young to have this burden.

Take her to the vet. And have your mom lay off the spray for a while. That's stuff is anything but good for any kind of pet.

she probably ate the bugs that ate that spray.. and tell you dad to lay off that hairball remedy he might give the cat too much of it... just wrap the cat in a towel and keep it in a quiet place away from noise and just give it love.. and sometimes when a cat doesnt want to eat it is cause it is tired of the same food.. try to feed it food that smells strong to make its appetite come back.. like sardines or canned tuna... just make sure the cat has water even if you have to get a small bathroom papercup and put just a little bit of water in it and hold the cat in your lap and FORCE the water slowly..
cats can go a few days without food but they NEED WATER to survive...
tell your dad that when his time comes you are just going to wait for his time and not take him to a doctor...
the way he doesnt want to take the cat to the vet...
THAT IS ANIMAL CRUELITY...

so your parents feel its okay for a poor cat to suffer! ask them that.. tell them that you would rather take her to the vet and help her then watch her suffer. cats need medical attention too, eating wet canned food is not always good for cats, try also dry food. talk to your parents and let them know you don't want to see her suffer anymore, that maybe taking her to the vet would really help her and isn't that apart of being caring for animals..

Good chance she has ingested the roach spray. Cats are constantly licking and cleaning themselves, so that's very possibly what happened. I almost lost a small dog that way. I treated the lawn and it made her very sick. Your cat is dehydrating... she needs to go to a vet and be rehydrated. Good luck.
