That's a pretty general question. Since you put it in Religion & Spirituality, I suppose you want people who "testify" about their religious beliefs, possible religious experiences. You won't like mine.

The longer I study the concept of religion, the more I believe it is necessary for each one of us to find our own personal way to higher levels of spiritual development. I will not attempt to describe my path because I could not recommend it to others, except in a general way.

I would tell people to read what others have said about what they believe, to study the history of various religious traditions, to experiment with meditation and various rituals and symbols and find which ones have meaning for you. If it is your way, find someone whose wisdom you admire and become their student or apprentice.

I like what aunt 93 said. I think we've all got a thing to do, and that thing isn't necessarily the same as what others have to do. We stumble along making a lot of mistakes, wrong turns, and muddle out as best we can.
