LDS women aren't modern and fashionable. They have to wear clothes that can cover their garments. That eliminates 95% of fashionable clothing.

Report me all you want pooperific. I've been around for a long time, and you're not getting rid of me. What was so horribly offensive this question anyway?

Even though they don't wear garments, they're taught to wear clothes that don't show their shoulders, shorts are supposed to be knee length. So no, there's no flaw in my question, at least in that regard.

Look at that pooperistic. Looks like you have to have a legit reason to report a question. And obviously this question has no reason to be removed.

I think this is a good question. I shave my armpits and I'm Mormon. Its just part of being a girl I guess. and when I wear my swim suit that would be gross if I didn't.. True we are taught modesty even if we don't wear garments and yeah its hard to find modest clothing. My swim suit now at the moment is a surf top and board shorts because were I live its like show every thing or don't swim and its hard. But most of us shave are armpits because its just gross if you don't even if your the only one who's going to see it.. Hope this helps...

Armpit hair removal must be performed more frequently than leg shaving, as underarm hair grows faster than leg hair. The armpit area can darken over a period of time and, even with a close shave, an "evening shadow" may be visible. Because hair under the skin can contribute to a dark appearance of the underarm, waxing, by removing the hair from the root, can effectively reduce this darkness. never had that proble though

LDS women aren't any more modest than Jewish women who are taught to cover their entire arms and not just shoulders. I remember having this discussion a few times (with non-LDS friends) that a women is far more attractive and sexy when she is leaving things to the imagination rather than showing off what she had for breakfast.

It seems as though women can't win in this society: either they're laughed at and called prude for respecting themselves or "asking for it" if they show off their legs or torso.

And yes, I shave my armpits regularly.

Of course we're allowed to shave our armpits! <> This MUST be a rhetorical question!

Added: What you say is true... It's hard to find fashionable clothing that is also modest. But it's pretty amazing what Mormon women can do with only 5% of the fashionable clothing!

I don't like the Mormon religion very much, but I just moved to Salt Lake and for the most part everyone dresses really nice. The girls are little more conservative, but I don't think that is a bad thing.
Oh, and not all women wear the garments. So, that is a major flaw in your question.

Edit: It is a flaw because you don't have to dress like a skank to be modern and good looking. I didn't know knees and shoulders need to be out in order to look good. Thanks for that.

I may be in the minority, there some locations on the human form that are never very attractive. This is one of them. Maybe unshaven ones are going for more of a Mediterranean look than Midwest.

Why is this question on Religion and Spirituality anyway?

Yeah...just because our everyday clothes have to cover everything doesn't mean our bathing suits do! Most of us wear halter bathing suits otherwise showing our armpits! Yeah that's a turn on to all guys!

Mormon women probably don't bother. They don't wear clothes that show their armpits. I'm guessing they don't shave above the knees, either. Why shave what garments cover?

I have no problem finding modest fashionable clothing. Even though it's NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS...yes we can and do shave our pits and legs!
