Hello, all! I pray that you are doing wonderful this afternoon. You know we often think "if God will give us this, or do that for us, we will be happy" Let me tell you something that I was in a position to be a blessing to someone else today, and it wasn't me that did it. It was the Holy Spirit that did it. And do you know that I feel so happy that I feel like I was the one who recieved something? I wish I could explain it to you. It just makes tears well up in my eyes, because I truly realize that God blesses us in so many different ways and today He blessed my soul. Fellow brothers and sisters, God is Good!!!! That's great, it's always the best feeling when you know that God has filled you with the Holy Spirit to do His work. Sometimes God will fill you with the Spirit while in prayer and that can be a beautiful experience too. Remember to humble yourself so as to guard against feelings of pride for something done through you, not by you. That is always an important part of letting the Spirit move through you. God Bless! Same to you Cat. I am here when you need to talk or request prayer also. Many of us on here are really here for each other The enemy tries so hard to attack us, but cant get thru, as we will always stand strong for the Lord.
I had severa blessings things weekend by being a blessing to someone else, that ended up belssing me also Isnt it good ht way God works. A young girl just approached me as she is thinking of temrinating her pregnancy, and oh man, of all theones to come to . I am so pro life than even the pro lifers think I am solid. hahaha Dont get me going or I will be here awhile. Anyhow, I was able to wittness to this girl, please keep her in prayer, tho she never gave me her name. Works for a video place in Phonix Az. just pray. thanks. Was able to wittness to a homosexual man yesterdy, tho he did not agree with me on anything, he said I was the first Chrsitian he respected and liked. I know I planed a seed, no matter how small, no some one else can water it, Keep iving the word of God and speaking it without fear or compromise and the world will change. SOme wil receive God and some will reject. Its just our job to live it and speak it and the rest is up to God an that person still having choice.
God shows me the answer is praise to Him and obedicne and the rest all just falls into Place. and thru Bible study and prayer, anything lacking will just come.
