gx temptress: They put parking meters south of Durango!?
I lived just North of Durango, above that tattoo parlor and rental car place at St Mary's and Durango. My racket was parking one block south, where there were no meters.

What a thought... well prohibition did NOT work in the 1920s so I doubt it would be the first order of business.
Another thought is... Will we all have to wear the 'special' underwear with the magic symbols on it to protect ourselves from evil.
Yea all of us running around with magic longjohns is more likely than prohibition. Starbucks would fight that. Mormons don't drink coffee.

No, he didn't try to change Massachusetts law regarding alcohol when he was there and if he tried you know Ted Kennedy would lead the charge to override him anyways.
