Sometimes I feel I've been denied some good things. Then I look around and see that nobody's life is perfect. We just don't know what others next to us are going through sometimes. Unfortunately life is not easy. Too many dissapointments and sorrow. But then I look in my baby girl's eyes, and think: What more can I ask for? Look at this little angel who adores me.
Nobody's life is perfect. But all good things are out there. We should just go and get them!

The only people who feel like they have been "denied the good things in life" are the ones that have an unjustified sense of entitlement. We as humans (especially in America) have the capacity to earn anything we desire as long as we WORK for them! Sure it sounds old-fashioned and out of style, but hard work is the only way to achieve the most sought after goals, no matter what they pertain to. If you want to be more successful with the opposite sex, work to make yourself more attractive to a mate, or put yourself in better situations in order to meet people. If you want more money, SAVE! Or at least change your spending habits. To tell you the truth, the only restrictions we have are the ones we impose on ourselves...

What are the good things in life?
I have a roof over my head, three squares a day, a wife who loves me, sons who are successful.
I have two dogs I walk. I play music with my friends.
I have a computer to connect to Yahoo!
What more does one need?
None of these are free.
I have to work every day to keep them close to me.
Every relationship requires that I do things.
No one has given me these.
If anything is missing from my life it is only that which I have denied myself.

My question back to you is, "What have you done pro-active about the good things you've been denied?"
Forgiving, and using the energy of not having to achieve what you want would be the best suggestion.

Perhaps they don't know it's not actually possible to 'have it all'? I find that learning to appreciate what you do have is quite a good counter to that. After all, the more you have to be grateful for, the less you miss what you don't have IMO.

Good things don't necessarily enhance your state of consciousness.... there are many rich people who are suicidal.
What is denied regarding our state of consciousness, we do to ourselves.

Denied by whom? It's all available to anyone who wants it, but might take work.
