I SALUTE YOU FOR YOUR SELECTION!

GO SEE YOUR RECRUITER AND SEE WHAT THEY HAVE TO OFFER. THEY ARE GIVING BIG BONUSES NOW AND EVEN A COLLEGE EDUCATION.

BOOT CAMP IS A PLACE YOU CAN BE PROUD OF GOING THROUGH. MY BROTHERS DIVISION WON AWARDS FOR THEIR TRAINING....

THEY HAVE PRETTY SHARP UNIFORMS TOO.

I WORKED WITH A NAVY NURSE AND SHE WAS A WONDERFUL NURSE.

THE HAVE THE FINEST NAVAL PILOTS AND THEY HAVE THE SEALS TOO.....

MORE PROS THEN CONS AND YOU WILL REAP WONDERFUL REWARDS....PLUS YOU CAN SAY "I SERVED!"

A school is harder than basic training in the Navy, but the basic training is not hard! Most of the time you will be in class witch is not hard if you did well in school! Your pay will depend on many things like if you have taken JR OTC or ROTC, how well you scored on the asvab test, and if you have any college credits! Boot camp is not hard, you will wake up around five am, than go and exercise, eat, go sit in a class room for a while, take some tests, eat, go swimming, eat, march around, get yelled at a little, and than go to bed, and some times you will have to pull guard duty or iron at night! Learn your 11 general orders, sailors creed, and chain of command before you get to basic! You get to travel, your college gets paid for, the people are really fun, and it is not very hard!

I'm sure a recruiter can tell you all the positives. Understand that you'll be joining the military. They can send you wherever they want to. From what I've heard about basic training, it sucks. It's a big commitment in your life, and you're smart to gather information. The recruiters only tell you the good stuff.
