I bathe my pups when they are 6-7 weeks old. Just be really careful not to get water in their ears and make sure you keep them warm and get them dry when you are finished. It has never hurt any of my pups.

It is common and normal for ALL dogs. I think what you are describing is FLEAS. Dogs catch fleas all the time. It is nothing too serious. You can get shots for fleas, or you can buy frontline. If you put frontilne on your dog, it works great! ALL the fleas will be gone in 20 minutes. Frontline is just a brand of flea drops you can use. But before these fleas get out of hand, you might want to get your dog those flea drops or shots. That will help your problem. Good luck!

I start bathing my pups at 4 weeks old when tehy are being wened and I prefer to begin grooming pups prfessionally between 8-16 weeks depending on teh breed.

sure, just use a mild puppy soap and don't get it in her ears then dry her really well so she doesn't get cold. It's a good idea to bath new puppies because they may not have been cleaned very well after birth

Most vets recommend that you don't bath your puppy until they are at least a year old but I myself will at least use a towel and soap them up that way and dry them off right away. Who wants a stinky puppy?
