I am trying to praise the good lord and i can only hear their butt cheeks resonating against the wooden pew. We need to make a special, designated section of church, seniors only. What makes them think they can interrupt mass just because theyre old??

Many old people feel that, because of their age, they can get away with anything, anywhere. I think it's because they've "followed the rules" for most of their lives, and now they feel they don't have to abide by them after a certain point. And that, unfortunately, includes cutting one at their convenience no matter what. Not that it makes it right, though. Any time anybody does something like that in a public, formal setting, I am offended.

I doubt they are doing it on purpose. They probably can't help it. Granted, that doesn't make it any better. I have been offended by the odors coming from many different aged people, though, not just seniors. What really "stinks" is that you can't get away from it because of being in church.

I can't say I have experienced that problem with seniors before. However, we have an elderly man who yawns very loudly during the Adult Bible Class, and everyone giggles.

I have not been to mass in years l but I don't remember this being a problem. But yes, a separate section where they can serenade each other and keep the odoriferousness to themselves would be much appreciated I'm sure.
LOL:)
