I have two dogs who are not fixed yet... a year old female puggle and a 6 month old male beagle. My beagle recently learned how to "fornicate for a better use of a word with my girl puppy. She has been on her period for a week, possibly longer. My question is: can my girl puppy get pregnant while on her period and by a 6 month old puppy?

In short... absolutely.
Dogs generally start to become sexually mature around 6 months old. They should not, however, be bred before 2 years old.
The proestrus period in dogs (when the vaginal bleeding occurs) generally lasts for 4 - 9 days, then the female enters the estrus period, where she will begin to accept a male for breeding and is fertile. If you do not want puppies from this pair, see your vet immediately.

yes this is very possible and there is a chance if she is pregnant seh could have problems most beagles are larger than a pug and the size could make the pups to big for her to be able to carry or tehy can get stuck during delivery.
Also pugs often need to have c-sections anyways so either get her fixed now and abort the possible pregnancy or plan on teh money of a c-section.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aUOsT

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Yes, small dog breeds mature quickly and he is certainly old enough. Dog estrus cycles are not like human ones. Twelve days after bleeding begins is considered the best time for breeding. Get your girl to the vet and have her spayed. Then you can be sure she won't have pups.
