Yes they do stick out when they're not pregnant, but when they're pregnant they tend to go very pink and stick out a bit more.
Other pregnancy signs are obviously getting fatter around the middle, increase in appetite (although they can go off their food for a few days in the early weeks) and nesting behaviour (increased interest in corners, boxes and cupboards).
The average gestation time is around 63 days.

Yes, a little bit. If they are preganant, the nipples become more noticable and as they near their due date the fur around them disappears so that the kittens can feed easily.

They're still present, but you can't really feel them through the fur usually. If pregnant or nursing, the area around the nipples are also swollen, making the breasts very obvious.

How old is your kitten? If she is over four months, then please realise she can get pregnant. So get her to the vet as soon as possible and get her spayed!
