Okay, the "Second Coming" has just occurred just like it says in the Holy Bible (your preferred version). How do you REALLY know it's really Christ the King who has arrived and not a super-advanced extra-terrestrial who has studied our planet for decades and used highly advanced technology to fulfill the prophecy down to the very last detail to fool you? ( I ask this question because years ago an episode of "Star Trek - TNG" explored this very topic. Transporters and holograms can easily fool those who have no concept of what they can do.)
But seriously, HOW would you really know? Simply by "faith" alone? What if you're wrong and your "Jesus" turns out to actually be a disguised "harvester" from Epsilon Eridani who wants to turn you hamburger? (Food for thought.)

Interesting answer katiefish, but you just admitted that you COULD be fooled by a well-prepared false-messiah (albeit an alien one). No shame in that, but it just confirms that there really is no way to know if it is the "Real Jesus" or not until after it all is said and done. Personally, I think the safer bet would be to call in an airstrike against ANY self-proclaimed messiah and see if he reveals his true colors.

Both your impostor and the real Jesus Christ will find that most will reject him. He will perform miracles, and they will be denied. He will go to revivals, and they will revile him.
When he doesn't meet with the Pope or Billy Graham, who is going to believe him? If he does, I won't believe him.
