Definitely.... Happened to me for the first few months. Nothing to worry about. If she starts bleeding ALOT, she might be miscarrying and should see a doctor. A little spotting is very scary, but usually fine.

some women may spot early into their pregnancy, this is called implantation bleeding.however, if it way past the time for implantation, it is usually not a good sign.i started spotting around 6wks with my last pregnancy and my doctor diagnosed it as a threatened miscarriage.however, sometimes the bleeding may come from an irritated cervix (sex can cause this bleeding) or an undiagnosed yeast infection.however, nothing beats checking your doctor (its worth the peace of mind).its important because if your aunt is having a threatened miscarriage the doctors can see exactly where the bleeding is coming from and prescribe bed rest or give her the appropriate treatment/counseling.

I got what seemed to be my period through two of my three pregnancies. General rule, especially when pregnant, if you are concerned call your doctor. A nurse in the office will be more than happy to discuss it with you, and if that doesn't calm your mind, GO IN.

it is normal, but she will want to get checked out. Spotting in early pregnancy is common, but it can also be a sign of a problem. She needs to call her dr for a check-up, and that way she can get started on her prenatal care. Good luck
