Not at all, I know there is no god and that I am responsible for choosing my own path in life.
And I choose better than any god ever could.

Maybe right at this moment! You gave me laughter, "Pope Bush!" Never noticed that before. Thing is, usually that sort of
humor never tickles my funny bone, Now I have to ask my self why?
Your Q brings Jonah to mind. and the hymn, "Is it I Lord"
My answer to your Q is, yes, But I went/did, and in the long/short run learned His reason why. Flip the coin, It is my choices I question, Not God's, I check my motives, I also think if it God's will and not mine, He clears my path, all things fall into place, If he wants me there, He will get me there. Blessings

God would never do that. That is Satan that is leading you where you don't want to go.
Give up the driver's seat and let God take control. Let Go and Let God.

Sorry, i don't felt such calling where i don't want to go or to obey my Lord and Savior, my Lord Jesus! For honestly, after Lord Jesus found me, my heart desires; is always to study His Holy Words and learned more about my LORD! I like to read all kinds of books before especially detective stories but it just some kind of desire that my interest on other books was gone, other than the Holy Bible(KJV). Like watching TV or movies, i felt no more desire on them. Have you experienced the same?

Every day.
The God of this system of things is a terrible influence on all of us, but I read my bible and pray to the God of the heavens and he helps me.
For the benefit of other readers I have inserted a bible quote to help them understand your question.
1 John chapter 5 verse 19
"The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one".
Jesus also refered to this wicked one as the God of this world.

Naturally our will doesn't always line up with God's will - we have been given free will and with that comes consequences. Sometimes it is confusing and hard to go where He leads, but always worth it.

That is the whole point. God does and will lead you where He wants you to be. He knows what is best. He made us. He know the "whole story" and where we fit in. The problem lies in each of us wanting to do things our way, go where we wnat to go do what we want to do. I want him to lead me....Always

I do not think it is true. Being parents can you push your small child towards the worldly dangers knowingly the child will be hurt. No, God loves us, HE made us, we are HIS children, how can HE lead us to the path which HE knows is not the right one?

Yes! I came into Christianity kicking and screaming just like I came into this world. I fought hard against it but Jesus finely won me over. Thank you Jesus for being my God and Savior.
God Bless!
