You do make a point which has always brought a question in my mind. Jesus said to follow him for he is the way BUT I don't know if he wanted to be worshiped. When someone was healed they always said it was from him BUT he said it was not me but your faith. Now I'm not stating that Jesus wasn't right or that Christianity is wrong I'm just saying that maybe there was more to the story than what people wanted to perceive. Look at the Ten Commandments for instance, Thou shall not put any God or false idols before me. If Jesus was truly the son of God,( we all are by the way),then he would have not put himself into a position to be idolized because this is a sin isn't it?

I totally agree with U James, true Christianity is not a slap in the face to Jesus in my opinion, but, following the traditions that Mankind have set for their own selfish reasons are, the way christianity religion is set up is on the same concept that organized crime is set up, you have pay God to be blessed, the same way when organized crime was open, you had to pay them right off the top to be protected, a big bunch of crock if U ask me, I don't pay to be blessed, and, I am blessed everyday.

Not a slap in the face but a unintentional misinterpretation of the message Jesus tried to get across. He's still proud of us for trying though, and won't hold this mistake against us.

Wow...according to you, Christianity didn't begin until Nicea.
Nice try, but no prize.
Try, Christianity began the day Jesus returned from the tomb and was seen by many.
Did these folks just "claim" they saw Him? Perhaps. But then, why were they willing to die before recanting? Tell me which of the disciples went on to riches and fame because of this religion they created?
Let's see...boiled alive, thrown from a roof, crucified upside down, so many different ways of dying. And each one only needed to say "nope..never saw him..was lying".
And it didn't stop there. Rember the coloseums? Being fed to lions, gored by bulls, dipped in oil and beig turned into human night torches..... and why? because they wouldn't say "Ceaser is god".

You should have said Catholic not Christian.
Your logic needs some work. You need to include all information about Christianity before making a conclusion.
