Do you think this is a sufficient amount of time to plan and invite guests for a super small wedding?

Yes, absolutely! You can do it. Pick you venue - a B&B, chapel, park or small resteraunt would be a perfect setting. Then set the date. Get your wedding planner book, look for a dress & invites. Don't be suprised if your list grows to 25 though! I love small weddings - they're wonderfu and intimatel! Good luck!

Yes. But it needs planning and you have to stay on top of what is going on. If you let yourself think you have plenty of time...you wont have. You have to be flexible.
.
Priorities:
Wedding: Where it will be held. When it will be held. During the week? Friday evening? Who will marry you. Ask attendants. Buy dress, etc.

Reception: Where it will be held. What kind of food. Restaurant? Banquet Hall? Fire Station? Buffet? Sit Down?
Cake? Buy it yourself? Booze? Wine? Beer? Soda? Coffee? Decorations? Linens... colors? Music? Dancing?

Invitations: You need the wedding site and reception site address to put on the invitations. You want reply cards that state the number of how many people are coming. Some reply cards just state whether or not the person is coming. Some ignorant people say they are coming and bring their children (who were not invited), their aunt and uncle and the lady that lives next door. You invited 2 and are expecting the 2 you sent the invitation to. If there is a "number of people attending" that's more than 2, you can get in touch and let them know the restaurant can't accommodate their entire party...just them.

Attendants dresses, color, style,

Grooms tux? Suit? Colors

Flowers: colors

Photographer/video

Music: band, DJ, radio, guitar, accordian, CD player?

How you are getting to wedding..you wont be driving yourself? How are you both getting to reception? How are you going where ever after reception?

Honeymoon: Where? When? Where will you spend wedding nite? How will you get to airport? Leaving the country...you need a passport and you will not get one in seven months. You might but don't count on it.

Marriage license. Rings. Official raised stamp Birth Certificate for travel to Canada or Mexico.

This isn't all inclusive...a starting point. Add what you want..subtract what you don't want. I'm sure I left something out because I have not been thinking it through logically. This is just off the top of my head. The vendors will help if you ask. They will also suggest people they have worked with. Never be to shy to ask if they can do something at lower price. Most do but don't tell you unless you ask.
It's fun to do. Relax and enjoy. It's not rocket science.

OMG yes!! you can literally plan a wedding of 100+ in one month!!
sit down and do your budget first. Then look for the place, outfits, and the little things as favors etc(pick a theme this will help you know exactly what ur looking for)...I had purchased personal invites on ebay super cheap and everyone couldn't stop talking about them..in that package were the thank you cards, candy wrappers, bookmarks to give your guest with a message from you and the groom...

It's all about the details BUT simplicity..don't forget to have fun!

A wedding for 15-20 people can be put together in less than a month. Decide what you want (your priorities) and then start making phone calls!

True story . . a gentleman contacted me on a Tuesday evening about his wedding that Saturday (four days later). We met on Wednesday morning . . during that meeting we found an officiant . . ordered a small wedding cake from a local bakery . . made up a guest list for a home wedding (about thirty adults and ten children) . . ordered broasted chicken, several salads, deli meat and cheese trays from a local caterer . . ordered two small bouquets for the Bride and her sister from a local florist . . and rented an archway plus tables and chairs for the backyard.

Definatly. If it were more, no. But 15-20 guests tops can be planned in 7 months. My sister had 23 people at her wedding and it took her 6 and a half months to plan. She did it in her own backyard. But I don't know when your planning,so that may not help.

Yeah you will definitely have enough time for such a small wedding. As long as the place you want to have it isnt already booked than you should be ok. I ended up having 6 months to plan my wedding for 120 and it was wonderful. Im glad I didnt have a whole year because then I would have changed my mind, spent too much money, procrastinated, etc. Good luck! and congrats!

That seems like plenty of time as long as you are ready to be juggling a lot of balls in the air at once. Get a wedding planner out of a Bride's Magazine or but a formal book on it and go for it. Good luck and I'm jealous your wedding will be so small.

Yes, and in fact you could do it in a lot less time. I planned my wedding in 3 months, and it was in a city I had never visited across the country! For such a small wedding it is relatively easy, and it is nice not to waste a lot of time planning. Kudos to you for keeping it small - you will enjoy your wedding so much more, have much less stress, and probably spend a lot less money. Happy planning!

Yeah I think that is plenty of time. I planned mine in 4 months for 65-70 people, and that was even with the boutique messing up the order of my bridesmaids dresses! so as long as you know what you want and just stay focused on it you can achieve it! Good Luck and Best Wishes to you and your future hubby! : )
