I think that she might have been stung or bitten and it got infected. The same thing happened to my dog last year and it just got bigger. I advise you to take her to the vet immediately!

Is she in pain from the bump? If yes, take her to a vet. If no, it could possibly be a fatty tumor, benign but ugly. Either way, take her to a vet. She has been a good friend for 7 years, and deserves to be taken care of.

Go to a vet. You'll never know until you get it looked at by a professional. Don't wait, it could be a tumor, or it could be a swollen lymph node in which case your dog may have an infection. It could also be totally benign and nothing to worry about, but to be sure, take him/her to the vet!

You can find a vet through your local animal control or through the ASPCA.
Have the lump checked to be on the safe side. Do not wait just in case it is something they can take care of it before it gets worse.

It's like that it's a fatty cyst and not much to worry about, but a vet should make that determination. Have it checked out.

Check w/a local dog store or groomer for recommendations for a vet in your area. Ask your friends or neighbors who have pets for their recommendation or check w/owners at the dog park.

You should probably take her to the vet. It could be something serious like a tumor. I hope she's better soon!
