No man can come to me unless the Father, who sent me, draws him.—John 6:44.

We dedicate ourselves, not to a cause or to a work, but to Jehovah himself. The work that God has for his people will change, but their dedication to him remains the same. For example, what he told Abraham to do was very different from what he told Jeremiah to do. (Gen. 13:17, 18; Jer. 1:6, 7) Yet, both of them carried out the specific task God gave them to do because they loved Jehovah and desired to do his will faithfully. During this time of the end, all baptized followers of Christ strive to carry out Christ’s command to preach the Kingdom good news and to make disciples. (Matt. 24:14; 28:19, 20) Doing that work wholeheartedly is a fine way to show that we love our heavenly Father and that we are truly dedicated to him. Without a doubt, baptism opens up the way to many blessings, and it is not a step to be taken lightly.—1 John 5:3. w 4/1/06 16-18 WAIT TO ANSWER!

Can we become more dedicated, to a cause or work, Jesus Christ or the faithful slave over Jehovah? Do we at heart put all those right needed things in their right order? Can we become more dedicated to something lesser than our loving maker? Made things cannot give us life unless Jehovah give them power to do so like he did his only begotten son Jesus Christ and sent him to us to save us who are exercising faith in that right order of things. The faithful slave is only the tool yet on earth to teach us the right order of things so to get life but they are not Jehovah or the Christ. And Jesus Christ is the most important tool for life in that right order of things and yet he is not our loving maker Jehovah we need to be dedicated to! If we understand that right order, our hearts in truth will love even our enemies who want to hate and kill us without good cause hoping they too will become dedicated to Jehovah. And help those in the faith stay dedicated out of deep love for them also!

The reason for reasoning on the above is because many at the doors say my religious leaders said this or that, not the Bible (or God’s word) said, like Jesus did. We need to note if we do the same with the faithful salve class and have people be dedicated to the wife of Jesus Christ not Jehovah. Recall, lovingly, we are only to follow the Christ and the slave back to Jehovah, to do anything less will be a serious sin. Jehovah is love; all others are loving if they know Jehovah in truth. Jesus is a perfect example of that love, the best of mankind the slave class of the brothers of the Christ, or Spiritual Israel are an imperfect example of his Father Jehovah our loving maker. Like the text for this day says’ “The work that God has for his people will change, but their dedication to him remains the some.” Abraham and Jeremiah did different things for Jehovah but lovingly did those things out of love for him. Are we as dedicated under our personal circumstances as it changes as mind?

I just now have been able to get back to this, but posted it to see what kind of reaction I would get. Because most in the world have no idea of that right order of things. They have the wrong idea of Jesus and my not even know what the slave really is. So it is posted as a fact of the order of things so to be noted! Is that wrong?

Dedication to the only true God Jehovah who has gone out of his way to get all sinful mankind back in right order with his loving law by way of his son Jesus Christ if a person with a reasoned out free will choice, wants at heart to do that, is what the Bible is all about from one end to the other. Nothing less than a whole hearted dedication will work so to have true PEACE & SECURITY on earth for one and all! Can we make it so simple that the most hard of hearts can see that fact? Can anyone say I at heart am not sincere in trying to put a all out effort to teach a simple fact? I know many will not take heart no matter how simple the loving facts are, they love this less than perfect world and are willing to die with it than have to change. But this an appeal to rethink their choice!

They never pretend that Bible study aids are more important than the Bible itself. Or anything less than a full whole hearted dedication to our one and only God and Maker Jehovah! His law of love is so perfect trying to live without it we will only have war, crime, and hate! O, is that why the world is like it is today? It all goes back to what Jesus said at John 8:44. Believe that and John 8:32 and the whole picture makes sense! Lies bring death, truth bring life! How simple if we love truth and the God of truth!

Is it possible to get our prioraties out of wack, sure. Even the Apostles did, while with Jesus. You are correct that we must all strive to keep them in order, though this hardly seems a place to post such a question.

Yahoo Answers is not really set up for interaction beyond SIMPLE Q&As. Perhaps you would enjoy a more interactive JW group? The link below provides one suggestion:
