I know my cat puts his nose in my face (I haven't gotten the butt yet!) when he wants me to wake up because he's bored or lonely. Cats are nocturnal and he sees you sleeping and thinks you should be awake for him! At least, that's how my cat is.

The nose to nose means your cat is saying she is your friend.

How do animals greet each other? They smell each other's butts! Mama cats also rub their cheeks against their kittens faces to transfer their scent and show affection. Your cat is just treating you like another cat...maybe she thinks you are her kitten!

It sounds gross but this is the way cats greet each other. They share their scent.

She loves you and its her way of owning you. She's an animal, in the animal world, this is exceptable. Doesn't mean you have to let her.

Cause she is about to let loose a whopper of a cat fart and she wants to make sure you get a smell of it. She is soo proud of the really stinky ones.
