Can someone explain why?
What so great about getting pissed so bad you cant feel your feet, act like a complete idiot, and get limp dick?
Maybe kids (teens) find it cool, but after 18 or at least 19 its not cool whatsoever and you are totally outnumbered by those who actually have morals - thats if it isnt a mass thing, if it is, then your part of the problem.

It's NOT cool, no matter how young or old you are.
Just ask the families of people who have been killed by drunk drivers, or the one's spending time for stupid "pissed to the gills" accidents. OR dumber yet......the enemies that are made by saying or doing stupid things while under the influence.

On occasion I set out with the plan of getting totally smashed out of my mind. Never to the point of blacking out and I take precautions however. I don't drive and I make sure I have someone with me. The attraction? The altered state of mind.
I don't do this often. Most times I just live to get a nice buzz on and maintain it through the night. Again the attraction is the altered state of mind.
For those that are doing every time they head out, or worse everyday? I think they are mostly trying to show off or might possibly have a problem.

I know people my age, mid 20's, who drink every weekend intending to black out and get totally smashed. I don't find that very fun. In fact the couple times I have drank to the point of feeling sick have made me very careful of how much I drink, because I never want that to happen again.

I don't know why it was cool, because they are young and it's the thing to do. I got pissed drunk when I was younger. It's just something younger kids do.
Now that I am older and have matured, I enjoy drinks but I very rarely get pissed drunk.

I think most teens and even some adults don't think its cool per say. I believe they are just trying to have a few drinks to take the edge off or relax and before they know it they are black out drunk. Those who do drink themselves to oblivion are usually just acting out for attention.

duno it seems to be like a new experience, well not now but about a year ago it was, its not thats its cool its just i cant really explain it, you seem to have a better time when your pissed rather than when your not.

maybe people just love the feeling and love doing stupid hysterical things. alot of teenagers might think its cool also coz they're breaking the law, aswell as getting pissed....... alot of people do mature though xx

Getting drunk isn't a matter of morals. Being inebriated when your responsibilities dictate having a clear head is, but getting plowed isn't, by itself, immoral.
It's merely stupid.
