No,crunches are different that situps.
With situps-you bring your whole upperbody up off of the ground,it brings the hip flexors into it,which brings the emphasis off of the abdominal muscles.
With crunches-just your shoulders come off of the ground-it emphasises the abdominals.
To do crunches, just lightly place your fingertips behind your head, bring your shoulderblades up off of the ground a few inches-look straight up,do not bend the neck.Start out doing 25 a day-it will work your abs pretty well.

Yes. The only difference is a bend of the knees while doing the crunch. I find those along with leg lifts to be the most effective exercises for the abdomen.

Crunches are much different than situps because crunches are short pulses of just lifting you shoulders off the floor and pulling in with your stomache which are actuall better than doing 200 situps. Situps are actually and full motion where you lift your torso off the floor which mainly works your lower abs.

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.freelstore.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 4.95$ shipping and handling.
Good luck!

Basically crunches are the same as sit ups. it is just a different way of saying the same thing.
