Do you raise your kids, or do they raise themselves?

In terms of the real Biblical perspective, absolutely we are to do this.

Judging in Biblical terms is not a superiority I'm right and you're wrong and I'm going to make your life miserable judgmentalism that is so rampant these days.

Instead, judgment is to gently point out the behavior in a loving way and help the person to understand what can happen if they continue down the wrong path. Parenting is definitely an appropriate time to do this.

If I see my daughters heading into a dangerous lifestyle, such as choosing to see a bad boyfriend or choosing to become sexually active early on, it's my job, and responsibility as a parent to gently correct them and to explain the consequences of making bad decisions. Depending upon their age, then I allow them to ultimately make the decision, but they have to live with, and accept, the consequences for making poor decisions in their life.

I will always love my children, no matter what they choose in life. But it's up to me as a parent to prepare them to make proper decisions including the fact that they must accept the ramifications if they choose poorly.

Parents are responsible to raise their children and place a soled foundation under their feet.

Or try. Let's face it, the kids will be bombarded with every new liberal idea and social concept that comes hot of the press.

Don't judge your kids, love them, teach them right from wrong, you have to be understanding if they are doing something they shouldn't then be a good parent and talk to them. You just have to help guide them on the right path, Judgement will come from God on all when we die, and you'll either go to Heaven or Hell. Be a loving father, guide them, be there for them, help them.
God Bless

yes it is wrong to judge anyone even your children, with that being said, if my child is doing drugs, or abusing themselves in anyway, then I would do everything in my power to help them, I would be understanding but I would do an intervention, but if they aren't hurting themselves, I would honor and appreciate any choices they make because I would respect their independence and their right to choose.
