Why do we not put the blame where it should be and stop beating up on illegals?

In dealing effectively with illegal immigration, we have to deal with the true issues at hand. Because of our inept govenmnent, our frustration boils over and we find ourselves hating not only illegals but hispanics as well. Corporate America has always recruited illegals. National and State representatives have also cashed in on this practice. It saves each state countless millions. Have you not seen State jobs being set aside in many states just for illegals. Who do you think are building many of our roads? Who do you think are building our state and city offices? Illegal immigration is wrong and will eventually be the downfall of America, but fault the governors, senators, corporate America and the other crooks. It's a business! Illegals are working openly. Why run, they are more protected than we are? I saw a farmer go to Mexico and recruit illegals. He paid them $32,000 yearly.

Who is really at fault? Do you make $32,000, and you have a degree?

I couldn't agree with you more. Big business is using this as their cash cow right now..and are not going to stop until they milk it dry...you ever seen those Mexican soap operas when the show the rich guy living in his huge mansion with maids and butlers...than they show the poor guy with the hut cooking his beans in a "carbon" fire? That's the way we are going to be in a couple years if we let them go further..

I agree that the problem is the Government. Some politicians trying to get votes are bringing issues for their campaigns and after the elections, what happens? They are leaving behind a lot of feelings in the nation that continue creating problems. Some people are manipulated very easy and they believe what a politician says. Some, people pay attention to what families or friends says even when they are wrong but for them is right, they don't question. This country is made of people from different nations, the native Americans are the real native. What is the background of racists?. There are multicultural couples and they will have children, and nobody can stop that. They will be Americans too. Possibly people who hates Mexicans or other immigrants will have their grandchildren in a future. The feelings of anger and hate that has been created by racists, some politicians, etc can bring bad consequences to this country and those feelings in a future can make our country to fall,then the ego of some people will be affected. Many people from other countries read these messages and I will tell them that we Americans are good people, there are good and bad but that happens in any country, the good people from this nation is ashamed of abuses and racism because this nation was made of immigrants.

A whole generation of Illegal Aliens from Mexico are given written instructions in English or in Spanish on how to make a safer Illegal Border Crossing into the US.
Mexico to this day teaches that the US SW is theirs and we(US) stole it even though Santa Ana got his butt kicked.
Add to all that, the entitlement mentality which was thrust upon the US by Lyndon Johnson's waste of 3 Trillion US Dollars called the "Great Society" and it's easy to see why Illegal Aliens want to come to the US for a free ride.

There is a lot of blame to go around on this issue, but you have to start with the immigrants who violate our immigration laws and commit other felonies in order to work in the USA. Of course, our government is largely to blame for not enforcing our immigration laws. W. Bush, Ted Kennedy, Juan McCain and Harry Reid tried to pass that awful amnesty law.

Let's not forget La Raza, the govt of Mexico, the Chamber of Commerce, and individual Americans who hire day laborers. They are all part of the problem.

I don't blame the illegals from Mexico at all.I lay ALL the blame right where it belongs...the White House steps.NAFTA was a hasty get rich quick scheme that destroyed the Mexican infrastructure and put millions out of work.It laid the path for mass illegal immigration and now us citizens AND the illegals are paying for corporate and government greed.Instead of protesting AGAINST the illegals we should join hands and protest NAFTA.I'm sure they'd like to go home if they had something to go home to.

We do not hate them, we want changes made on all fronts. Secure borders, deportation and jail for the employers who keep the whole mess going. The government is hearing us like never before. Changes are going to happen.

Our government is complicit as are our big businesses, no question, but the illegals, however uneducated about their impacts, are still the perpetrators and the better lives they take for their families are still at our families' expense.

I agree with you, mostly. I am fearful for Latinos because blame is being placed on them, and, they are not here to hurt others (mostly). They are here because they can work. If you have a problem with it, you should deal with the government. I fear that that hate is going to cause war in a country that was created by a variety of cultures.

America wants our laws enforced. Prosecute employers hiring illegals and deport illegal aliens.

This is not "beating up on aliens". It's called enforcing our laws.
