Yes - but place a metal long handled spoon in it first then slowly pour the water over the spoon handle to temper the glass and prevent breakage. Good Luck!

Very, very slowly.
Pour a little and allow the pitcher to adjust to the heat, then a bit more. After a few "pours", you may increase the amount, but not fully until the pitcher is fairly hot, from the hot water.

It would be best to let the tea cool before putting it in a glass picture. Boiling water poured into something cool or cold can break the glass.

Never pour hot water into a glass. Why risk breaking it?

If it's pyrex, sure.
Even if it's not pyrex, though, it's best to pour hot tea *slowly* into the ice, so that the tea is *cold* by the time it dribbles all the way through the ice....

yes it is fine, as long as the pitcher is sitting at room temp and was not pulled from the fridge and does not feel cold to the touch, otherwise it could shatter, a room temp pitcher is fine though

if the glass is tempered and can handle heat, do so.
otherwise, i'd say to let the tea come down to room temperature and then add it to the glass.
