I generally like to give a can of Dinty Moore stew to a hungry hitch-hiker, or a guy on the road with a sign saying he's hungry.
One to one is about all I believe I can do, all that I believe is even right.
Life's a tough gig. Tougher for some than others. Trying to help through institutions is just a way to water down whatever a person can do and feed some high salaried 'helpers'.
I'd be in favor of trucks full of beans and raw corn pulling up in places where homeless hang out, offering it free to anyone who wants it so's they won't have to be hungry if they want to cook it.
Nothing but a loader and a truck driver and some fuel in the operating costs, aside from the commodities.
I'd be in favor of that.

America has lost focus of her priorities. It thinks that things in other parts of the world are more important than her own citizens. The government doesn't seem to care that it's own are homeless and hungry and with a country as big as ours that shouldn't be.
We need to stop terrorizing the farmers by making their chosen profession out of their financial reach. Bring back farmlands to this country and stop relying on foreign markets for our wheat and grains, for our vegetables. We can grow more than enough to provide for our own if we put our efforts to it. Providing more farms will also open up jobs and thereby give some that are homeless a chance to work, save money and go on with their lives.

Feed them offer your home your clothes if they ask for something give it even if it is your last dime and you will be rewarded in Heaven.
