im so sick of people telling the world that global warming is occuring because...it isn't. God would NOT give us an earth that can be destroyed, i fully believe that. Also, why doesn't anyone believe that along with seasons the earth goes through tremendously hot and cold periods in a cycle: like the ice age? maybe the earth was incredibly hot before that. its a cycle, so deal with it! humans have NOTHING to do with global warming and are just a TINY part of earth. there is NO WAY that we could have created this "problem". Al Gore has shoved wrong information down our throats and even scientists have disproved most if not ALL of his ridiculous "so called facts". Also, Al Gore is changing our views by first telling us what he thinks, forcing others to believe it, gotten political people involved, discredited scientists and professionals who disagree and are posioning the youth with this nonsense..this reminds me of another event that followed the same steps: the holocast. anyone agree?

I'm getting sick of this global warming 'epidemic'. Climate has been changing for as long as the earth has existed. The climate will continue to change... The earth warms up...the ice melts because it is getting warmer...the oceans are getting colder and the earth is moving into the next ice age. Humans don't have a significant impact on global warming as it is a natural process. Politicians should worry more about are pollution and related illness...

If you believe in the Christian God and you think that God doesn't give people free will to destroy the world, you are either heretical or have a grave misunderstanding of basic Christian tenets. Al Gore is self-serving and has done much to discredit the idea that humans are causing the Earth to warm. Humans have dramatically increased the number of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which retain heat. There are undeniable statistics recorded independently that CO2 has risen dramatically due to emissions since the Industrial Revolution.. You should take a look at a basic model of the atmosphere to see how greenhouse gases retain heat. The conclustion that people are causing at least some of the recent warming (1 degree past hundred years) is nearly undeniable.

If this earth is going to go on for another 1,000 years.......after the Rapture occurence, as the Bible declares, how then will this earth be if Global Warming is still in effect ??
What?
Is this earth of GOD's going to have daytime Highs of 140 to 160 degrees all over the U.S. come 600 years from after the Rapture event...if this earth continues to Warm for another 600 years?? Course not.
While we Born Again Christians are Reigning with CHRIST in the 'New Jerusalem' City.....all the rest of the world's population would be Baking to death if it was that Hot on earth.
Just something to think about for us Born Again Believers in JESUS : )

Global warming is happening and it is happening at an alarming rate. There has been severe floods and freak storms here in England and its cause is likely to be due to Global Warming. I'm a Christian too, but simply stating that the world is free from danger of global warming is ridiculous. Even on the bible, there has been accounts of flooding, freak storms etc. Would you say this if your relatives house or your house was demolished unexpectedly by the floods caused by global warming. Our world was made perfect but its Humans that have caused it to be far from perfect.
I really wish I could change your mind,
I just pray your house does not become flooded or scorched due to your beliefs that Global warming is not present.

Seems like you are getting some rough treatment for asking your question. Back in my day, there seemed to be more tolerance towards disagreements especially outside of the world of politics and in the places that people gathered. As a matter of fact, people who disagreed and were on opposite sides of the fence often ended up as best friends. Boy, times have changed. Well anyway, here is a website that may make you feel better

So you are not the only one being unfairly attacked for expressing a view that doesn't agree with somebody else's view. It seems quite common today.

looks like an inconvenient truth, you need to understand other Christan's have been fighting against scientific truth through the ages the church fought against Copernicus and Galileo but that did change the fact of the matter. you must understand that scientific fact dose not delete your faith in god i believe in god however i also believe in science, god did give us brains for a reason. you seem only to be parroting the same old right wing fundamentalist line well go on your way believing in your creationism and denying any thing is wrong just keep you head buried in the sand so no truth can get into your head...hey harry h. these people ask questions and then want to give the answer in response to them and you i say as Lewis black says"you can't be to nice to them they think the Flintstones was a documentary"

Science hasn't disproved anything that Al Gore mentioned in An Inconvienient Truth. In fact science has backed it all up. At this point it isn't even a question on whether or not it is happening the question is how do we stop it. The world isn't invincible, it can be hit by asteroids (which it has been, many many times), and one day it will be destroyed by our sun. We are in a day and age where for once in all of history we have the ability to destroy the planet on which we live, and it is people who have beliefs like yours which can lead to its destruction.

Don't be fooled by your fear... yes, I am a Christian, and yes I KNOW this is real. It is no political issue, it is a simple issue of the human race getting over our fears and creating a solution. Have you ever thought God didnt expect us to get this advanced, or expected us to have the pure responsibility to control our actions if we can create them? If you have seen Al Gore's video, I would expect you to "find these truth's self-evident".

ok, u think that God would nto let this earth be destroyed then why r there hurricanes adn tsunamies adn tornados adn earthquarks that r slowly destroying the earth adn the life on it?
also, it global warmign is perfectly natural adn it's no hipe then why r u talkgin abtou the ice age? the ice is natural, i agree, but we would still have to save our selves frm it. and politcs ahev nothign to do with the earth adn the environment. every summer the heat waves r higher and higher adn the hurricanes r stronger and stronger. somethign is happening, and we need to prepare for it or decrease it.
