I am a guy. I'm 27 years old now. When I was young, around 11 I was fondled & messed with by an older woman. It was uncomfortable since I wasn't ready. I guess this has caused problems for me now. But since I'm telling you now I can get over it? Am I over it now? .. Thanks.. It feels better to tell someone as if I can finally get over it. I've never told anyone.

no...you are not okay...especially since we are the first people that you have ever told...but yes you can easily get over it...just talk with someone close to you that cares about you and they will listen and offer you advice...take this information from a male that was sexually molested by another male when he was about 9 (i am now 22) and i have talked about it with my girlfriend and parents and friends...the key is to never feel shame...because if you had your choice you would not have let it happen...so you can allow it to bother you or do something about it

when i was 7 i was ill and in a hospital. every night the nite nurse, a girl in her 20's would come into my room and expose her breasts to me and ask me to do certain acts. being a young person i did not know that anything was wrong with it. many years later i realized what was going on and felt bad for the nurse. i have no problem with this situation because it had nothing to do with me. the problem was with her. do not let your situation get you down. nothing was your fault. the problem was hers. it does however make for an interesting part of your life. i think it made me realize that some people will do desperate acts out of loneliness.

It feels good to get things like that off your chest. I understand where you are coming from. Yes, you can get over it. Have you been able to forgive the woman who did this to you? That is a really important step to the healing process. You don't have to speak to her directly, just in your own heart and mind forgive, this will help you move on.

You may not forget, but if you forgive you will feel better.

Good luck.

yes your ok telling someone is the first step to recovery...but however i do not believe that you should have told us first you should have old close family member. If you tell them they will be very understanding and help you out.

I'm not sure how to handle that, but at least it wasn't a man. I guess women can be freaky perverts just like men.
