Good question! And as you know, I have blamed God for a lot of the things that went wrong with my life. Until I realized I wasn't listening to him good enough. His plans for me were for me to obey him. I blame myself for most of the bad and have brought the other half of the bad to the people that have done wrong against me. I gave it all to God to handle. My heart feels sweet now.

I'm not really sure where karma fits into this, but in my opinion, we blame God for everything because we believe that He is responsible for our lives. In our minds, because He created us, gave us blessings, has the power to save us, etc., he is also the one who allows people to get hurt, for disasters to occur and all that junk that happens in our lives.
Some people blame God simply because they don't know why this is happening and they need someone to blame. For example, if an earthquake kills a loved one, who do you blame for that?
Personally, I think that God has a reason for everything. The crap in our life is something we'll have to deal with. We weren't put on this earth to live a life of luxury.
As for untimely deaths, well, I'm still wondering. One of our school's most loved teachers, Sir de Leon, died because of some idiots racing on a highway while our teacher was on his way home to his family.
Still, I don't believe we should blame God. Maybe this is just the Catholic school teaching that's been ingrained in me or just my optimism, but I've never blamed God for the crap in my life. I just keep thanking Him for everything because He's still good.
And that's enough for me.

People also give God credit for their good fortune. Not too long ago there was a story about a 5 year old girl who got lost and survived on her own in the wilderness for several days. When she was found, friends and family members were talking about the amazing power of prayer which they felt had kept her safe. I think they should have been praising the amazing ability of that 5 year old child.

ITs a human tendency to avoid taking the blame on to ourselves. You being a man are talking about blaming god. Ask the women around, majority of women will tell you that their husbands blame them for most of the things going wrong with them, its a human tendency.

P.S I am one of the husbands who blame wife for many things going wrong, and I have reasons to prove so.. lol

Some people blame God whenever something wrong happen in their lives.

But when all is in order. Happy moments arrived in their lives.
They forget to thank God.
Think of it.

Ephesians 5:17 Wherefore be ye not foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

Well most people don't believe in god when sometimes we think he exists. Its really complicated that its hard for anyone to explain it. We don't know whats the real cause for everything and we humans don't like it to be unanswered. We find different ways to get the answer and if we hit a snag then we just blame it on what comes up in our minds. its like a guess and check but its only a guess.

Mixint GOD... and Karma... is like Mixing Oil and Water!

They Cannot be Mixed!

When YOU speak about "GOD".... do you mean .... This ONE? Or something else called "g-small-g"

(Isaiah 55:6-to-11) Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

(Isa 55:7) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

(Isa 55:8) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

(Isa 55:9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

(Isa 55:10) For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

(Isa 55:11) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Thanks, RR

A lot of people mistake their faith in God as something that should make their lives perfect. That isn't what it about. There is both good and bad in the world and the choices we make determine the outcome of certain aspects in our lives. We have to also remind ourselves that somethings in this world are also beyond our control and that all we can do is hope for the best.

I blame my own Karma for whatever that goes wrong with me. I thank God for giving me the strength to bear it. When it becomes unbearable, I blame him for not giving me strength and not for what is happening.
