Adam was formed first and given instruction by God not to break his law.-Ge 2:7-9;15-17.
He obviously did tell Eve as he was her partner whom God had instructed to teach. Eve was thoroughly deceived but Adam was not-1 Ti 1:13,14; 2 Co 11:3. Adam was the more guilty one as he was told directly by God not to break that commandment- Ge 2:15-17. Two perfect people who were given everything they needed but did not take seriously God's command. They used their freewill to decide what was right for themselves. They could have so easily resisted, but thought that God was withholding something from them they were entitled to have.-Ge 3:1-19. Therefore they were prevented from partaking from the "tree of life."-Ge 3:22-24.

Your question is pointless. The story is merely an allegory designed to illustrate for Bronze Age minds the fact that mankind is doomed to fail and always was. Even if you believe the story literally, you have to admit that "god" knew ahead of time that Adam & Eve would submit to temptation.

Well, although God told him not to, Adam still did, because 1, we all want what we can't have, 2, Eve ate, and showed him that it was all good and she was alive, etc., and three, maybe it tasted good.
god Bless.

They had both already been told. Can't lay blame on one or the other, although it has been tried untold times. They both knew what they were getting into.
