Seriously folks post stupid questions all the time like "Atheists does your non-belief stem from wanting to do bad things?" or "Where do your morals come from?"
I have also seen one that specifically asked "Atheists is rape ok?"
So when I actually post something in reference to that why is everyone so shocked. Doesn't it fit the stereotypes already placed on non-beleivers?

I'm non denominational and I know some people that are athiests, but they don't want to go around raping people just because they don't have a religion. Even though we're not religious, people still have MORALS. And morals prevent people from doing something stupid. Athiests aren't heartless people.

NO, it doesn't fit the stereotype, people get bent out of shape, not because it is what they thing non-believer think, they get bent out of shape because of the word rape, and whether it is a man or a woman, rape is wrong, by believers and non-believers alike.
we are all the same, and should not be stereotyped, because of our beliefs, whether they be, believers or non-believers.

I am shocked by people's inability to se the relevance of your point. Maybe that explains why some people have those stereotypes in the first place.....they aren't intelligent enough to think otherwise.

I've seen Christians all the time post such things about Atheists, and you are quite correct: they assume that Atheists have no morals and are lust-filled people, bent on fulfilling every physical desire. They also refuse to see the point of your question, and I doubt they will.
