Few days ago I had this weird thing happening to me... In the middle of the night I was urgent and wanted to go to the toilet, when I got up, I was suddenly pinned down and unable to move, so I struggled and then hurt the right side of my neck.

After much struggle, I finally managed to get up but was then throw back down again and my head was in the middle of the mattress, my body was turing on its own (head not twisted but just following the direction of my body).

After about 1 round of turing, it stopped and I immediately when back to sleeping position. When I REALLY woke up, I was indeed urgent and needed the toilet. Now the puzzling thing is that I have no idea whether this is real or dream cause it happened at the place that I was sleeping at.

Can anyone tell me whether it's real or dream & what does the dream means? Don't tell me it's about anything related to toilet or bed. All I want toknow about why I was being made a fool by an "invisible creature". Help appreciated!

Btw, it felt so real that I had no idea how to explain it...

It sounds like you had what is called sleep paralysis, followed by muscle spasms due to the urgency to get up.If it starts to be a real problem
or you get injured from it, you might want to talk to a doctor about it,but if it's just occasionally I wouldn't worry. It acually happens to a lot of people.

i recently while in the hospital recovering from what my doctor thought might have been a tia(small stroke) had the same experience. no body could figure out what was wrong with me. finally they all agreed that it was something psychological. i went to my psychiatrist and he diagnosed it as dreakization, dissociation and depersonalization. ( look these up under webmd or just type in on your computer they have some very good information on these) anyway i found out from my doctor that when you have been sleeping and wake up that this is a good time for this to happen to people who don't even have a mental illness like i do. the same things can happen if you have been reading a book and get so involved with it that when you stop reading it the same thing can happen. 70% of the country suffers from this type of thing. it can happen any where from a minute or two to a whole day. you might want to talk to your doctor about it if you are still concerned. it is not an illness it is a symptom of an illness. it can be caused by meds, to any number of things. i do not believe that it was caused by anything supernatural so put your mind at rest on that. Good Luck

wow thats scary. I wouldnt worry too much about it because that can cause stress my friend. I read on the internet about people like you getting pinned down on there bed and not being able to move. It occours when your being abducted by aliens. Did you have any lost time? did you feel like you where paralized? good luck sleeping to night.

Perhaps to be certain see your doctor, I truly do not want to frighten you but play it safe,it could have been a mini stroke, or part of your body could have gone to sleep, last month my arm went to sleep then turned around on its own and turned back, it scared the heck out of me,
Good luck!

No question...you were asleep and obviously dreaming. Since there is no such thing as anything paranormal, you were dreaming. Now rest and get some sleep...
