My stepdaughter's school supply list wants a small pencil/supply box, but not a trapper keeper. What am I supposed to be looking for?

A pencil box is just a small plastic box with a lid that latches shut... they are everywhere right now, in every school supply aisle. Trapper Keepers are more like 3 ring binders.

A trapper keeper was a thing when I was in school that was like a a thick 3 ring binder that was held shut by a flap and velcro, I am assuming they are talking about the same thing. What they are asking for is the basic pencil box. Its a bout the size of a kleenx box maybe smaller to hold pencils etc in.

A trapper keeper is that thing that looks like a folder but is more durable, thicker, sometimes they have a three ring binder and a velcro closure on the outside and sometimes they will have a zipper pouch inside for pencils and pens, you can also keep papers in it since its like a folder. They don't want this, they just want a regular plastic or cardboard pencil box, plastic is usually better. She must be in elementary school.

a trapper keeper is like a binder, except it zips up. a pencil box is a small plastic box that clips shut. they come in all different colors. make sure to write her name on it becuase most of them look almost the same.

A supply box is a plastic container that she can store her pencils, crayons, pens, and markers in. A trapper keeper is to store paper and folders in.

A trapper keeper is a notebook with pocket designed so that the loose papers do not fall out -I do believe that Trapper Keeper is a brand name so it should be easy to find.

It's a small plastic box, that clicks shut. I bought one at Wal-mart that had a clear bottom and blue lid. They `are in the school supply aisle.

A PLASTIC BOX THAT SNAPS SHUT THAT PENCILS FIT IN..WALMART HAS THEM IN A TON OF COLORS FOR 50 CENTS.
