Is this a great way to ruin the planet? At "90,000 diapers," this family has made its own land-fill. Selfish?

My guess is that since they are a financially conservative family, they most likely use cloth diapers.

It is selfish of people to think they have a right to judge. Can we look into your life and determine what we think you are doing wrong and make public commentary about it? Is there nothing more important to worry about than a family that is happy and self-dependent?

I've seen the documentary about the Duggar family. They're in no way selfish. They have one of the most loving, close-knit families I have ever seen. The entire family helps each other out and looks after one another. Also, the Duggar family has NO DEBT which is a rare thing for a family in the States. Everything they have they own outright. They even built their own home to house their brood. I think people that criticize them just don't know the whole story and feel free to throw around negative comments.

Well answer this did you use cloth diapers for your kids or if you have none do you plan on using cloth?? It is not only them that fill up landfills and a further note do you recycle?? Don't point a finger unless you yourself live by the rules you are trying to impose on them and if the worst issue you can thrash them on is disposable diapers then I believe you need to find a better cause.

No, I do not think it will ruin our planet because God has something planed for those kids to do something four our country. You never know what they may bring good to this country. One of them may be the next President, in the military Marine, Army, Navy, Air force or National Guard, Fire Fighter, Police and so on. Think about this how many kids did they have back then? My Aunt, God bless her soul she passed away last Sunday. She had a baby at 15 and looked he was in the Army for 21 years protecting us from harm. She has five other kids after that and they turned out wonderful. It does not matter how many kids they have. All that matters is they are raised right and that they have the GOOD Lord with them.

These people live right up the road from me... They are a wonderful family and they raise their kids to behave in a respectful manner. That's way more than anyone can say about some kids.

They are not a drain on resources because they do most everything for themselves. She sews most of the girls' dresses.

They are wonderful people and noone has the right to tell her she can't have more kids if the Lord blesses her with them.

Low life losers have NO trouble having 10 + kids.. and people who actually care about their kids and raise them right are stopping at 1 or 2 kids.... In 20 years that's going to leave a HUGE imbalance in the world. The Duggars have raised kind, intelligent considerate kids.. More power to them.

This is definately a personal decision.
No where does it state that they are using disposable diapers. They could be using cloth ... that's a sure way to save money and landfill space.

First off its their choice. Its also part of their spiritual beliefs that they will have as many children as "God" wishes for them to have. They have an AMAZING home one I am sure you'd be jealous of. They do not accept welfair. I think the ppl you need to worry about are folks that sit on their asses popping kids out so they can get more money from the government. Not the first time Ive heard of the Duggars, and Im sure not the last.

get over it! its not your business! as if you have never selfishly contributed to the demise of the planet! you never tossed things in landfills? do you eat meat? some would argue that is selfish, to take an animals life to satisfy your meat cravings, and no eating meat is not for survival~ anyway its not our business if they have 1 or 17 or 29 kids, if they can manage then good for them

Are you asking us if we think you are selfish?

YES

It is none of your business. Out of all the things that are destoying our planet, like oil refinerys, industrial factories, all the automobiles, and you are concerned that this family has "too many kids"???

FIND A HOBBY AND STOP WORRYING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE!!!!
