In my last question, I asked whether hugs could be considered a slice of heaven and one reply was simply telling me to grow up. You know, I took that as a complement, being a child within my heart..I think that's the way it's supposed to be even though I'm sure the answerer didn't mean it that way.

(((((((everyone)))))))

In that context, would you take it as a complement or not?

When a person looses the ability to be playful...they just turn into an old fart!

Honestly, I think many people are jealous of our ability to remain carefree and child-like at times. Why would anyone want to dwell in stress and cause themselves heart problems? Is this what society expects from us?

I would take it as a compliment! ; )

It was not intended as a complement; but you can take it as such if you wish. A little childishness goes a long way to making a more joyous world.

That's just some moron on answers trying to be rude. You took it well and that is all that matters. If it makes yo feel any better the fact that you took it as a compliment is a slap in their face.

Take it as a compliment. Then, if it's not, it'll just wind them up more instead of you.
Incidentally, i think one of the above answerers suggested you take a job giving hugs.

If that's how you feel (heart of a child), then yes. If you were having a hissy fit though, I wouldn't.

I wouldn't attempt to construe it either way. The thoughts and opinions of others don't impress me much.
