I lost thirty pounds a few years ago in just a few months. It doesn't matter what height you are or what weight - if you are getting into dangerous eating habits it can suck you in! Be careful and tell your parents so they can help you. There is certainly nothing wrong with eating healthy, but you need to eat enough each day to survive! Also, ask yourself why you want to lose weight. Is it because of media? Celebrities, models, etc? Because those pictures you see and people in movies are NOT real... they are airbrushed and covered in makeup. At 5'4" and 115 pounds I would guess you are beautiful!

Do you mean you're bulimic or anorexic? You weigh the exact right amount right now.
Okay, kiddo. You're going to have to sit down with them and break the news. Tell them you need help and see if they'll help you find a dr.
NAMI-the National Assocation for Mental Illness has a website, you guessed it--NAMI.org with tons of information about illnesses, chatting boards, but most of all, they have people in every part of the country who can help you find the BEST doctors and therapists and help you any way you need.
Please, honey, try your best to fight this. Cover up the mirrors if you need to, and throw away the scales. Just eat like you need to stay fitting in your clothes. If clothes are loose, better ramp up your eating for a few days. If they're tight, well don't be drastic, just be a little more careful.
Sweetie, I can tell by looking at your post that you're a sweet, beautiful kid with a heart of gold. Turn your focus. Don't let yourself look at the outside. Focus on the beautiful you on the inside. Are you generous? helpful? kind? loving? smart? courageous?
Best wishes, little love,

Rehearsh what you want to say so that you can talk clearly and concisely. Believe it or not you can tell your parents most anything-especially if you need help. You may or may not have problems but it's best to just sit down and start talking. Pick a time when they are more relaxed, not when they are rushing and tell them just what you said here. You be sure that you get an appointment to talk to someone qualified to help you be it a doctor or a shrink. or the nurse at your school. Your weight doesn't seem off for your height so I'm guessing you have an eating disorder that distorts your self image. That's very serious and you need help big time so be sure you get it. Just sit down and tell them. That's the mature thing to do so that they don't get the big surprise. Your parents will be supportive. Please be sure you get the help you need and please be open to your treatment. Lots of luck.

Just sit them down and say you think you have a problem. I am the same way, I am 5'3 and 105 lbs. Compared to when I use to weigh 135lbs. But when you talk to people about it it does make a difference. It actually helps a lot. I am now taking steps to deal with my eating habits. But you should just tell them. Tell them everything. Why you do it, how it makes you feel, what other people say. You know just let all your feelings go. It really helped me to finally talk about it with my husband.

Your mind is your problem. Trying to follow the Britney Spears look? She herself is having a problem accepting the fact she does not look like the 15 year old who first hit the charts, now that she has had a child and the fact she is now 26 or 29? It is called growing up. She is going in for lipo and other plastic surgeries, but she can afford it. She can't accept the fact she will never be 15 again.
Do you want to be classed in that mindset? Sicko? I do not think so. Too skinny is no good either. You cannot have healthy babies either.

My girlfriend only weighs 115 and she is fine. I think that the weight that you are at is ok but if you feel an overwhenlming urde to lose weight then thats not good. Talk to your parents about how you feel. They went through a lot of things through there life they love you and I am sure that they would help. but you have to tell them so that they can.
good luck :)

You sound like you are anorexic. You are definitely underweight and appear to be headed towards starving yourself to death. Yeah, anorexia kills. You need to speak to your parents and a school counselor or nurse if your parents don't seek medical help for you. Your body is feeding on it's organs and muscle and that causes irreversible damage that can and often does lead to death. Seek medical help today, don't wait for another six days.

Are you making yourself throw up after you eat? If not and you just are eating to little and are losing weight then don't worry about it. You sound like the right weight for your height so I wouldn't worry unless you are making yourself sick. Then I think that your parents should know.
