The answer is, of course, a definite maybe. As no one in recent history (save for people in scripture who may or may not have existed, I don't know, I don't know them personally) has actually died and come back to tell us just what happened over a cup of tea, everything is a theory. But that's also the good news! Since NO ONE really knows 100% what happens to the soul/ghost/energy/aura when you die, your theory that you have made up just now has as much evidence behind it as the theory people made up thousands of years ago. Keep in mind science won't tell you if there's a heaven or a hell. All science has managed to uncover for a fact is that you don't take your body with you when you die. So, if you're happy thinking there's a heaven and/or hell, go ahead and think it. If you aren't happy thinking there's a heaven and/or hell, then don't. If religion isn't making you happy, there's no real motivation for following it. For all we know, none of this is real and we all just exist hypothetically. Perhaps the question shouldn't be if heaven or hell exists, but rather if we can prove that we exist. And if we exist, what are we? Are we the body? The electrical pathways in our brain? The energy that flows through us? The quarks and neutrinos and other subatomic particles that form that energy? In the greater picture of mysteries, heaven and hell hardly seem relevant. But, that's a different topic entirely.

Well, I have to agree with you. Hell is indeed a very real place, just as heaven. However, I don't think it's a "some people just don't belong in heaven" deal. Those who accept the free grace of Jesus Christ will spend eternity with him in God's house. Those who don't, will spend it in hell. Detractors and critics argue that this is far too simple. They are right in a way. Christ's gift is free. What an awesome thing!
The Bible is clear on this issue.

Ok, once again...
the bible is not meant to be taken word for word literally!
IT WAS WRITTEN BY MEN! Men who were trying to control a population and what better way to do it than promise eternal damnation if you don't do what they/it says.
Yes I know, God was supposed to be telling these guys what to write, most of them didn't listen very well and wrote what they needed to maintain control.
Hell isn't a place it's a state of mind, a feeling. That cold feeling you get in your chest when you feel like nothing is worth it anymore? That's hell. It's the spark of God trying to tell you, "Don't do anything rash! I'm here, I can help!"
It isn't a free pass to heaven kids, after all, you gotta live here first, and sometimes this place can hurt.

What if the person who rejected Jesus is a good person at heart? Does Jesus have an inferiority complex? Does he need people to worship him? Why can't he content with people just doing good? I'll give you another example, what if the person who accepts Jesus is a complete scumbag? Religion makes it clear that it is more important to believe in a god over being a good person. And do you honestly think you will get into heaven with an arrogant self-righteous attitude? Think it over because you have it all wrong.

heaven... no wonder the world is blind....
your god has a hard time controling what we do in life... where others see us... what makes you think that he's have better control in heaven or hell. Proof.... no one has ever come back to tell us... so this god of your tell of a man who died on the cross... your god says I will raise him up in 3 days... ok you beleive it... then as proof of heaven.. your god says this man is going to come back... 2000 yrs later... he's not here.... that is 2000 yrs or so after he claimed to have brought him back from the dead.... Now lets look at hell... because some people would think they are obeying god so they don't want to break his rules... There was a man named Harry Houdini... who practiced all his life breaking out of places.. I'm sure Harry had it in mind to break out of hell... He made a deal with his wife, if there is an after life I will bring you a secret message... It has been reported that all though she tried, Harry never came back with a message.... He's not the only one.... determined people challenging your god want proof... and your god other than murder by burining of heretics or so called witches has never changed a thing.... So no proof of an after life..... the devil will decieve many... it's not hard to decieve people willing to beleive lies, and such incredible lies they are... there is no life after death, with your mentallity he doesn't have to prove it but you will still go on making life hell on earth for us.....
There is no life after death, and we don't mind you waisting the one life you have on the devil if you so choose but you do not have the right to destroy earth in the process...

I think "hell" is more of a condition than a place. It's a condition some people put themselves in by refusing to obey the principles of happiness. The primary purpose of earth life is to develop an understanding of these principles. Our Heavenly Father doesn't want to leave anyone in hell and will do what He can to help us grow and develop.

Realize that these people who don't believe in the concept of jesus and god also don't believe in heaven. A lot of them all they really want is to be left alone. I find it funny how 'believers' can despise people just because they don't believe in what you believe.

Actually nobody can tell us that he /she visited heaven or hell .This all is in our all religion (wheather cristinity ,jew , hindu ,bodh ,muslim )& that it may be true that if there is a heven than a hell must also be there But actually both places exist on earth only in our life when we have what we diser & get it r peacful ,content that is heaven & when we suffer that is feling of hell. Our good karm agives us hevenly felling & bad karma comes back like hell.

people who think they deserve to go to heaven probably won't. gratitude and humility is an important part of being a good person. and heaven cannot exist without hell.
