It was worse than a judicial action or just some punishment. It was an eternal curse. A CURSE, I say! There was no justice in it. It was deific petulence. Spite. Rage. All the things one rushes to worship in a god.

True, Adam and Eve messed it up for all of us, making us all easy prey for sin. But don't worry about the original sin. The scriptures declare we are freed of the sins of our forefathers.
So, that leaves you. Have you have ever told a little white lie, taken someone else's french fry or thought about doing it with anyone other than your wedded spouse? Any thing like that (or worse) is YOUR sin which needs God's forgiveness.
Jesus paid the awful price for your sins, so just tell him "Thanks for the gift, I accept.". Read the gospel of Luke then Acts if you don't understand what gift or if this seems too easy.

"Maybe from His point of view He is. But "justice" is a mankind's term, and no rational person with a pinch of common sense should attribute it to God. In my humble opinion."
Well there you have it. Only irrational people lacking a pinch of common sense attribute justice to God. So, you have arbitrarily and capriciously decided that God lacks justice by YOUR definition, which you call your "humble opinion."
Forgive me please, but there is nothing humble about that opinion. For when people resort to name-calling and arbitrary word definitions, humility is out the window.

You're not charged with the sin of Adam or Eve, but only with your own. Adam and Eve, however, were representative of what anyone else would have done and seeing as all have sinned, this shows how accurate the representation was.

Children who are abused can become offenders themselves. In fact many (something like 90%) of prisoners were abused as kids. It is something like 1/8 victims become a perpetrator but they can offend against many victims (this is for violent crimes and rape). So ask yourself the same question but look at our society. Is it fair that a prisoner is put in prison because of the 'sin' of someone else, who did it because of someone else, ect.
The Christian view of this works in a similar way. When Adam rebelled against God, he also taught his children to rebel. Over time we have continued to rebel against God and we commit the crimes that our forefathers committed because that’s what we were taught to do. Christianity is about changing our lives because we realize this point, and about accepting the Love that God has always had for us. It's the same as a prisoner getting counseling so they don't keep committing the crimes they committed against society, and they can realize that it was the person who did the things to them that were bad, not themselves for being victims.

Yes, even when God gave the ten commandments he said he would only punish those who rejected him to the third generation. I don't know where this idea of perpetual guild came from but it does tend to keep people in line.
But, just what is a "grant" grandfather?

It's OK, when the judge is ready to sentence me, I will just suggest to him that he find a completely innocent and uninvolved citizen and have him executed, and let me go.
Makes sense, huh?
